Jon's Sneak It In Auto Grow

I wouldn't be too worried, the horseshoe pattern on it is what made me think of it.
I appreciate it @Absorber, that’s why I tossed it out there. Thanks. I’m not worried. It seems to be singular, whatever it is. And I will wash the buds. If harvest wasn’t a couple days away I might be concerned. But I did an extremely thorough check, and if it was a colony type thing or if there was something moving I’d have seen it. I checked ALL plants. So it’s something that beat me to testing these buds that’s all. They’re forming and finishing exactly as they should. No worries. Just disgust. Lmao.

Well @Azimuth, we have our answer. Here it is verbatim:

Hello Jon,
Thank you for ordering with us. You should expect to see flowering approximately at the 6th or 7th week. Please be advised that the photo can be a little deceptive, as the strain will be hues of pink, not necessarily neon pink.

So I guess we get what we get. Lol.

I use three buckets as well for my Bud washing, one a mixture of baking soda and lemon juice and two rinse buckets. When the second bucket gets too dirty I dump it, move the third bucket to the second position and put clean water in the other bucket and move it to third position. I use white containers to make it easier to monitor the water color. :cough:

I don't usually have to refresh a second time, but I have small plants and don't grow outdoors.

Ok guys, WTF IS THIS????

This is a trichome shot off the Platinum Mimosa Cookies indica pheno. I looked in every bud everywhere for an hour after seeing this. Must have taken 100 pics. I didn’t see any others. But whatever the F this is, it’s disgusting.

Any thoughts? And yes, @Azimuth, that’s enough for me - the buds get washed.

That could simply be Guttation

So, it essentially is special filters on their iPhone. :(

Disappointing, and kinda misleading.
You’re being too kind. I feel misled. Awesome genetics. Shitty marketing.

Thanks @Azimuth - I accidentally said lemon juice and H2O2. I meant baking soda. And yeah, I’m looking around last night I found a lot of hairs and bugs and perlite and shit.

Also, she claims flowering at day 42 to 49. Is she high? It was way earlier. God if only I had autos go 49 veg days…

Watermelon Wedding Cake #2
Day 87

She’s got a week yet. Maybe less. I keep touting the Watermelon Wedding Cake to you guys for a reason. It always gets gigantic. Every time. Doesn’t matter how you train it - this is the first time I’ve canopied one, but the other times I grew it and trained differently it still got huge and produced like crazy. Closest thing I know to a genetic guarantee. The one I chopped yesterday is big. This one is off the charts.

I mean….look:

Hi @StoneOtter - hey didn’t you tell me that you use RGR? I’m growing the clone organic. I just amended (top dressed) the plant cuz it’s been 13 days since the last GeoFlora blast (I shave it by a day). I watered it in with RGR. I read the RGR of course and it’s every two weeks just like the Geo. So doesn’t it make sense to water with RGR whenever I feed her? Every two weeks?

Thanks!!

H2O2 is an option for a fourth bucket (up front) and is usually used when pm is present.

That makes sense Jon! But I'd run the off week seeing Geoflora has a force of microbes built in when you use it. Not that it matters much I don't think it does. Either way.

Thanks Otter! Yeah I believe you can’t burn them with too manY microbes.

Hey @Azimuth - I think I figured out my plan. The next plant up will be the WWC #2 I believe. I think I’m going to trim it on the vine, so that when I wash, there’s less sugar leaf to get in the way of shit coming out. Does that make sense? Also - not covered in the tutorials - how long does the reaction with the lemon juice and the baking soda actually last? Like, how long will I get bubbles? And do I continue to add both a little with each set of branches so I’m always getting the foaming?

Thanks!

Yeah I’ve been researching specific microbes and from what I’ve learned so far, the RGR seems to be more targeted than the Geo, in terms of producing specific microbes that only serve the plant needs. Any merit to that?

I used it every watering one grow and had no negative effect I could see.

I believe in sourcing similar things from several places for just that reason Jon! Diversity makes the world go round!

Platinum Mimosa Cookies
Indica Pheno
Day 86

She’s close also. Can’t wait to do a comparison smoke test between the two phenotypes.

Here’s a real color picture with the reds turned off for a minute. This bud is gorgeous.
