Jon's Sneak It In Auto Grow

Platinum Mimosa Cookies
Sativa Phenotype
Trichomes

Yep, she’s close enough to check trichomes. Here’s a couple. We have a while yet. I was surprised they are even this far along.

Closet Tour

This is cool way to start your day, hopefully. I was going for juicy this time.

So first let’s examine the bad and the ugly. My one mistake in this grow was the second booster feed of Canna PK 13/14. They took the first one just fine and I had none of this. But right after the second feed of it about ten days later….lesson learned. PK 13/14 is no joke and if you are dumb enough to try using it, I suggest doing so sparingly. Thankfully this is as far as it progressed and the leaves are mostly still viable. I think it’s a P and K booster for me that will be used going forward only if I see a need, not just to add those elements more if everything is working. I was getting greedy. Anyway, here’s what it did.

Okay, now the good. Let’s start with the Pink Rozay. Her buds are slowly morphing into actual buds and she’s getting more colorful. The pistils are not coming orange, but rather some color between orange and pink. They’re odd and beautiful. Hopefully a harbinger of neon pink eventually. And she’s a mountain of buds. Immensely productive for her size. Here’s her highness being the spoiled bitch she is.

Now how about a quick cola tour. I especially like the Apple Fritter picture.

Here’s the Apple Fritter loving life with the Blurple lurking in the background.

And here’s the Gorilla Zkittlez, still not ready goddamnit.
Also a closeup on a bud:

Lastly, I took this picture for fun to get a shot that has buds from all three plants in the same picture. A jungle shot if you will.

So there’s our state of play this morning in the Blurple Closet. Hope you enjoyed our mini tour, please remember to sign the guest register. Thank you.

Heh.

@KeithLemon - when you see that big of a cola on the sissy auto version does it make you excited about what your big boy photo is getting ready to do? It does for me!

Yes it does Jon. I cannot wait to see what I will get out of these plants. If yours are any insight I will be a happy man. :thumb: 🍋

@KeithLemon - That’s kinda what I’m counting on. See, a lot of times, a killer auto is a sign to me that I need to grow the photo version of that strain. Especially when they’re close in terms of development, just different on scale. I’m hoping your plant behaves the same way as mine is. Not only will it be interesting data in general, it will make for a cool comparison. Either way it’s a cool comparison, lol. I wonder if autos and photos of the same strain really behave the same relative to bud formation, stretch time and amount, growth pattern, etc. This is the best chance to see that sort of comparison I’ve had yet and I thank you for participating with me in the comparison thing.

Btw, I never asked - yours is from Blimburn, yes?

I am enjoying this as much as you. 🍋

I do not know it is a clone and thats all I know about her.:yummy:🍋
Ah that’s right. Well at least most breeders use the same Sour Apple x Animal Cookies cross. That’s what mine is. Assuming so, it shouldn’t matter the breeder too much.

The parents are the same when I picked up the clone a paper they gave me said so. Sour Apple & Animal Cookies. It is a true Apple Fritter for sure.

Garden Focus: Dos Si Dos
Day 77

I don’t even know what to say. Incredible plant. Just check her out. There’s a picture at the end showing just how sticky she is - what you see in that picture is just from working the plant for a few minutes. Ultra damn sticky and frosty.

Yay!! That makes our comparison a little more valid than if it was a different cross of the same name, which there are a few of.

Edit…I hate that. There ought to be a rule. Once a strain is named, only that exact cross should be able to bear that name. And there should be a reference book for it like a dictionary. Heh.

She is showing more pistils every morning. 🍋

Are you a record keeper type? Some folks measure the plant before the stretch so they have a numerical reference on paper if they ever want to grow the strain again. A before and after thing. I bet your plant doubles in size.

Jon the apple fritter did not go through a noticeable stretch. The only thing I recorded was the start to flowering. It is hard to tell with her sitting next to the topped sour diesel that towers over her. I wish I did keep a record of how much she did stretch but I did not.:rollit::love:🍋
