Jon's Sneak It In Auto Grow

Why have the end wall partially into the space rather than maxing out the poly?
I have no earthly idea why or how this guy does what he does.

Hi @Hafta, looks amazing and a great crop, how long has it been in the veg?
Hi @Kanno26 ,
The photos above were an Auto Jack Herer. It showed "pre-flower" pistils at Day 20.
The photos below are from Day 48 of a photoperiod Blue Dream using the same lighting. I flipped her on Day 49. She yielded about 300 grams.

I am inspired by @Virgin Ground (‘s) Wookie auto, particularly the part about “minimal training.”
Aww. Thanks.

My plants have been doing better since I ignore them now. I was a bit too hands on when I started growing five years ago.

Yeah, I think the autos do better with a light training hand and enough rest. I really don't like to overdrive them. My auto gals get an 18/6 schedule.

My opinion is that plants that are being light blasted and force-fed like a paté goose aren't necessarily healthy plants and plants that aren't healthy don't put on weight like they should.

Like I said, this is just my opion though. Everyone has their own way to grow and I'm not dogging anyone.
I just know the world through my own experiences like everybody else.

I'm stoned and starting to ramble though...
:peace:

You kidding? That was awesome! I need a cigarette! Lmao. I started on 18/6 start to finish. Now I go 24/0 til pistils and then 20/4. Like you said, everyone has their way.

Pink Rozay
Day 11
Uppotting Day

Got her in quick, in part because I failed to fill the Solo cup all the way with coco. Held together no problem. I put her in a 5. Looks lonely in there, lol. She looks much more indica-like to me than does the last Solo cup Apple Fritter. AF will get a 7 and everyone is uppotted and in will come the side lights. This is getting fun.

Thanks @Hafta, and one more question how many watts does it put on?

Thanks @Hafta, and one more question how many watts does it put on?
@Kanno26 ,
The main full spectrum LED light is 235 watts from the top, the two angled full spectrum LEDs are 65 watts each, the two T-5 4,000K lower lights are 9 watts each.

Happiness is sometimes as simple as an empty gallon container.

I'm a fan of the Arizona Iced Tea containers. Sturdier than the typical milk jug.

Garden

8 healthy plants. Everyone is happy.

Today I did the following:

- established starter canopies on the two WWCs
- continued canopy training on the Gorilla Zkittlez and Dos Si Dos
- took the two large top fans off the GZ
- raised the light a little
- fed everyone but the Solo cup their first shot of RGR. That stuff turns your mix black.
- determined to wait one more day on topping the two Platinum Mimosa Cookies
- tried to judiciously take a few leaves where I felt it necessary

The RGR I’m applying per my conversation with Tom. He says it can work in coco with nutes but key is applying it when you can get away with not watering to runoff for four or five days. Let them microbes get going and actually make a colony and such. Gimme my 1%. Lol! He says once you do that you should be able to maintain some level of colony going forward. He also says he has several clients who use the method. So we’ll see. It may not even make a discernible difference but it can’t hurt, so…

Here’s the garden, and the GZ and WWC #1.

Happiness is also receiving your latest @NorthAtlanticSeedCo. order! Once again - six days from order and I have them, and once again - more freebies (8) than seeds paid for (6). The mighty Chocolope and Apple & Banana photos from Blimburn were paid for. Heh. All the best breeders. Why would
I go anywhere else? Lol.

Rearranging

This will be the new home for the Gorilla Zkittlez and Pink Rozay. Both are in 5s. The light draws 256 watts. It’s one of my first lights - a pair of these powered my first grow before I was here. Maxsisun old school blurple with crappy 10-watt LEDs. 256 watts is plenty for two small autos, and they’ll simply get the indoor environment the whole time. I’ll toss in a fan or two and we’re set. It’s a blurple but it gets the job done. And all the non grow stuff you see in the closet is all plenty far away from the light even if it doesn’t appear that way. No fire hazard.

This will leave the six largest plants in the 5x5. That rearranging will have to wait til tomorrow when my assistant returns from his trip. But at least the infrastructure is in place.

You were right @Grand Daddy Black, definitely getting a bit less sneaky. Lmao! Once again we go with the hide it in plain sight theory. It’s worked so far without fail.

Here’s the Gorilla Zkittlez and Pink Rozay enjoying the sunshine. They’ll stay outside til dark then hit the blurple closet. I’ll be falling asleep to purple light for a while.

That GZ is SWEET. Look at the canopy! I’ll take a smidgen of pride in that - this is a tight plant and hard to train.
