Well, yes. Two different versions, actually...Ok @Azimuth, now we’re in reality land. So are you serious? All I have to do is mash up a banana and seal it in a container with what? Do I use the peels? The seed? (Or whatever that thing is at the bottom, lol?). How long? Then what? Got a link? This I would actually do.
KNF Version (Korean Natural Farming)
A banana fruit and/or peel (banana seeds?? What the hell kind of bananas do you guys eat in Fl?), along with an equal amount of brown sugar by weight and a pinch of microbes.
Fill a container about 2/3rds full and top with a coffee filter held on by a rubber band or something to keep the bugs out.
The sugar helps pull the goodies out of the cell walls through osmosis and after a week or two you filter out the solids from the collected liquid and dilute 1:1,000 with non-chlorinated water.
Jadam Version
Fill a container half way with non-chlorinated water and add banana and/or peels (and yes, seeds if you can find them ), and a pinch of microbes and cover.
This version can also be used within a week or two but gets better with age.
A word of caution on this version. You'll want to keep the lid on nice a tight so the "fragrance" doesn't get loose.
And you can do either with many types of inputs, from fast growing plants like grape, to any of the more medicinal plants like aloe and willow, and beyond.
I make these extracts from the leaves I trim off and post flip larf for strain specific nutes.
