Jon's Outdoor Winter Photoperiod Grow

That would be @Stunger's grow your thinking of.
Duh! Of course it is! Thank you, apologies to @Stunger. Stunger, if you haven’t already seen it you would appreciate the Strain Hunters Malawi expedition episode!

Afternoon feeding for the girl, and as I’m looking at her I’m thinking -

“I remember when I thought White Widow was frosty…”

Btw - today was a Terpinator plus Bembe day and I forgot to mention - the Bembe will really lower the ph in your mix, so when I use both with the PB i actually pull out the ph pen.

Thanks Jon, I haven't seen those guys for a while, it'd be interesting about the Malawi.

Yep. Once again you are right, @Bill284. I mean Sensei. Air Pots rock, and they are very easily manipulated in terms of changing their volume. Mine is a 5-gallon Air Pot but for this I have it curled up into appropriately a 2-gallon pot. I lost the blue connector thingies like a dummy but it’s super easy to weave it together as I showed. And even that was overkill, it certainly will stay together without it. They are a very flexible pot in terms of usage potential and of course they work as advertised in terms of getting air to your roots and all that good stuff. You can even easily cut them down so they aren’t as tall if you want to. Fascinating product. :adore: Thanks Sensei.

Also, did you see how nice and tight I was able to get the bottom plate in there? It fit nice and snug between the incroppings. Super sweet.
I use a zip tie on top and bottom row on big pots.
Even with the plastic screw in place.
Just an extra safety measure.
They hold a lot of weight when full of wet coco.
Haven't had one pop open but don't want to either.
When you layer perlite in there it's like an air pump for the root zone.
Fantastic for growth and health.
Love those pots with the Bill284 Method.
It's easier than building SIP's for new growers.
And almost impossible to overwater.
Thanks for trying it out Jon.
You have been trying so many different things lately it's hard to keep track of all your Fantastic plant's, seriously I've lost track.
All I know is they are all doing fantastic.
A testament to your ability and knowledge.
Keep up the great work my friend. :high-five:
Take care.

Thanks Sensei - considering it’s your model and your direct, one on one education on and offline that serves as the base of everything I do now, that has extra special value to me.

:adore: :adore: :adore: :adore: :adore: :adore: :adore: :adore:

Did you dip in egg then sugar? Holy Cow Jon!
@Ikr, @StoneOtter? You can’t beat good genetics! I had literally maybe 1% to do with this. Lol. All we are is managers for these girls. As far as I’m concerned, it’s their world. I just live in it.

A couple things - first, these towers rock and I really like the blue sky background in the picture, and secondly, this is going to be a frosty beast!

Heads Up: Non Grow-related Post

Those who know me have seen me very occasionally give away a personal piece of myself in my journals. I usually post a warning like above and I try to make it fun. Tonight’s?

I am one of those alien freaks. I believe everything important there is to believe. This is a passion and something I have studied extensively. They exist, they’re here, they’ve always been here, and our government has cooperative agreements with some species. Humans and aliens work together in some underground bases. It’s practically an open secret these days.

That should be enough to give you the idea of the level of my belief (or madness to the non-believers).

What’s noteworthy about this is that today I got delivered my one Christmas present to myself this year.

Allow me to introduce my brand new alien growroom gaurd!!

See? It is related to my grow after all!

The real ones don't need plugs, so they?

Also, make sure it's on the same timer as the lights. :)
Pretty sure they didn’t get here on Duracells….or really long cords…

Funny you post this today. My friend now living in your state mentioned he's been seeing ufo action this week!
I never said it was the US mail that delivered it yesterday….

Definitely Grow Related Post

Just rechecked the data on this plant. Ethos says flower = 9-11 weeks. 63-77 days. Today is day 38. I’m having a hard time seeing her even make 63 days! She appears to be finishing up a lot faster than the data suggests, at least to my eyes. Interesting.

Some do Jon. You never know.
