Sour Apple Harvest
Day 89

And there she is. I'm pretty sure this is going to beat the one ounce and one eighth I got off the last Sour Apple.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Actually, you have hit on my master plan. I have done well in the business/financial world but I am looking to retire by 45, which is only 2 years away. I am going to release a book teaching my methods and my observations of the evolution of the online cannabis world, and I will put out my shingle for my mobile consulting business. Based actually on a friend who runs an aquarium/fish/coral store, where he makes a killing going around and maintaining and cleaning tanks for rich people, I think I can make this work. He has fun, has a job that he loves, and makes a good amount of cash doing it. I plan on doing something similar in the pot growing business. Pay me well enough, and I will show up every 3 days to water your plants. I will help you design and build a grow room that will work. I plan to market my disability in my advertising and people will pay me more simply because I am deaf. Here is a post from some years ago that turned out to be a gold mine and already I do some of this for seniors and the disabled who wish to have their own gardens but don't know how to start.
Soon I will expand this out to about a 200 mile radius around my home. Or at least, that is the plan. The world seems to be changing drastically at the moment, and who knows what 2 years has in store for any of us?
I was thinking of putting a business plan together myself along the same lines, of set-up, and maintain if needed, with set amount price per 15 min blocks of time, + travel mileage. I just finished my Cannabis Training University Course, means very little, but I enjoy the Plant. I could grow, and literally be ok with throwing away the production of it, lol, just the grow aspect is intriguing because of the plants pace and scientific side, and the many benefits and future of it.

Hope things work out the way your heading, and good luck!!

Congratulations on a wonderful harvest brother, and the new wheels too. Just awesome.
Thanks Dusty! Hopefully when she's dry she's as much as she looks like. But you know these autos are just the warm up act. Those photos are the grow. And the wheels arrive between 12-4 today!!! I'll post a picture of me in the new spaceship just for shi-- and giggles. It's quite the machine.

Time for a REAL Phototown Update

All I can tell you guys is that I am having a real hard time with this post. This might be the happiest you guys will ever experience me. In fact, I'm so happy and so blown away, and so have tears streaming down my face, that I'm just going to post photos today. I think if you have been following at all you'll get it.

These pictures were not physically possible one hour ago.

Chunky Check In
Day 91

The only auto left zooms past 90 days. Ok, first time for everything. I was worried about these buds a little bit as it seemed they were white hairing it forever and were never going to fatten up and become real buds. I no longer have that concern as they have finally found the gear. I have white pistils popping out everywhere now. The fattening up kind, not the bud forming kind, if that makes sense. There were so many calyxes popping on a few of the buds that I had to look real close and take a flarf bud to make sure she hadn't gone hermie on me. The buds are getting incredibly dense. Finally beginning to look like real buds. Now they just gotta fatten up. I'm thinking 105 days or so. Long time for an auto in my experience.

So here's the plant and some bud shots where you can see she's finally becoming buds.

Looking brother. Ghost train has my eye.
Heh. I hope there's more like you. Nobody ever comments except a couple people. I have to assume someone's following along or there's no way I would have won the GJOM. Not like I need the comments, but sometimes you feel like you're tossing photos and words into an abyss. You know? Lol. Anyway, the GTH I just did some internal defol on. I need to do more. She's so damn bushy underneath it's insane. It'll become a problem if I don't defol consistently, the leaves are just crushed together down there and there's a million of them. The GTH grows it's leaves back a lot faster than the other two. She's a robust little bit--. The Slurricane and Hulkberry have kind of "taken" to their defol, and both of them I have no worries about. But this GTH is just SO damn bushy underneath. When I pull buds to the side I see a bunch of yellow growth. Like, yellow new, not yellow old. Less green cuz it gets no light. So rather than take it all on one day I spread it out so as to not shock the plant too badly. I did some today. I'll do more in four or five days, a more aggressive one. And hopefully that'll be it. But yeah, she's purty, and the tent is beginning to see frost and starting to smell like weed. Go girls, go go go!!!!

Sour Apple Bud Tester Update
Pretty decent bud porn
Drying Time So Far: 4 days

The Sour Apple is not dry and won't be for probably two or three more days. However, there was one branch on the plant that was basically a few flarfy buds and one three bong hit sized cola on top that's a real bud, albeit small. The flarfy buds were completely dry. The cola is close. So I cut that branch off and trimmed the buds on it even though they're flarf. I won't use a real bud for a tester, I have developed more patience than that. But other than the cola these little flarfy buds would have been crushed in the Trim Bin. Might as well use them for the tester.

Oh. My. God. That's an entirely different world than anything I have experienced with this strain. I can't believe what I just smoked right off a drying branch. OMG.

I'll do a proper smoke report after it's cured a bit, but for now, OMG. The pictures pretty much tell the story I think. WOW.

- The flarfy branch separated and trimmed and complete - note the crystals that fell off setting it up on the glass tile, lol!
- Closeup of the legit bud at the top, and even this one is way less dense than all the others

Sour Apple sound like its gonna be fun,
Congratulations on GJOM btw. Ive been here since 2013 entered dont know how many compktions no titles. Lol once I was one vote away from nug of the month. The founder come in with last vote to beat me. Some guys I visted their journals had just been booted out of here over egos. I was kinda butt hurt like i had bveen singled out for just being nice to fuc&ers. Still haven't seen the founder come to vote since.
I think ive been blackballed.

Keep up the growing. You got some skills I know I was not putting out plants like that just a few grows in. Its taken me over twenty years of tinkering to get where I am.
Grow grow grow. Have a great weekend @Jon

I find that astounding. I'm like you. I have an ego, we all do, but I hate growers who display it for the world to see. Cool, you can grow. Me too. Just gimme a few more grows and I'll do that too. You know? It's not rocket science for god's sake. There's no room for ego if you want to learn in my experience. And I have a feeling you aren't blackballed.

And thanks so much for the kind words. People like you are why I am able to do it.

Chunkadelic Budding Update
Caught Chunky in the Morning Sunshine!
Day 93

So I talk alot about the towers on this plant, but there's a serious amount of lower growth and legit buds as well. This morning my timing was right on. Here's a picture of the lower growth that's lit up with a combination of the @Mars Hydro FC-E6500 and the natural sun. All the plants in this rig get that for about two hours each morning. It's a beautiful thing to see.

See?

Phototown Update
Flush Day for Hulkster and Ghost Train
Final Defoliation All Around

Grow Day 93
Flower Day 23

Fox Farms chart said to flush at the end of week 7.
I did so today with the Hulkberry and Ghost Train Haze. Also fed the Slurricane, they are drinking a gallon every 2-2.5 days. Every gallon I flushed through those plants was ph'ed to 6.3. Not necessary, right? Probably not. But it made me feel better. And they recovered and perked back up by the end of the day. The pictures are from five pm today.

Also did the final defoliation today on all three plants.
After this point in flower I don't like to take any more leaves unless absolutely necessary, and even then, sparingly. I opened up all three plants a lot, all three now have excellent air flow through the plant, and the temp and humidity remain constant as I have indicated.

The stretch is over. Our work is basically done. Now we're on cruise control, if such a thing exists. The buds are growing quickly and sweetly and developing frost rapidly at this point. Starting to smell in the tent more each day. And damn, it's pretty in there. Lol.

So here's where we are. All these pictures show post final defoliation and post flush on the two FF plants.
