FINAL DAY OF LIGHT FOR OUR GIRL
I Am Immersing Her in Dark at Bedtime Tonight
36 Hours of Dark
Day 70
Ok, I'm going to talk a little bit. I love this plant beyond any plant I have ever grown. If you haven't been following the entire 70 days, let me summarize a few things that makes this plant looking this sweet especially surprising and special.
- She is grown from a
bagseed Sour Apple seed from the nine seeds I made on my last Sour Apple.
- I simply put the seed into the dirt. I didn't pop it. Just a seed in a pile of wet dirt. Never did that before.
- The soil in question was the pile of used soil where I dump my pots after a grow. It was made of around 75% Fox Farms and about 25% Sohum, and all of it was at least four months old. It goes back to my first grow journal here.
- After she sprouted and I realized she would live, I transplanted the already growing in dirt plant into a pot, using the dirt she was in. That was an extremely delicate operation outlined in the beginning of this journal.
- From that point on she grew outdoors by day and under LED by night, totaling 20 hours of light daily. She started under my non-sponsor pro light in the tent at night, then quickly moved to the
@Mars Hydro rig in the outdoor journal to finish her nighttime light.
-
I GAVE THIS PLANT ZERO NUTRIENTS. I only had to hand water it twice, and both of those I gave her a Cal Mag treatment. But that is the only thing this plant has seen besides sun, rain, and the soil she's in.
- I did train the plant, obviously, with LST, and I did do a little bit of defoliation.
- I checked trichomes tonight, and she's exactly where I want her to be. Every single one is hard core milky, and those that aren't are a nice, clear amber. Nothing is burned in there. I have about 10-15% amber. Should be an excellent hybrid, but sativa heavy, buzz if I gauged it right.
And here she is, on her last day in the light. Ladies and Germs, I give you my finished Sour Apple Bagseed Used Soil Outdoor/Outdoor LED plant. Aren't you glad you don't have to see her anymore? Lol.
The photos require no words.
Thanks for tuning in to this grow and journal guys, I truly appreciate it. I'll be posting a picture of her hanging in a few days, and then pictures of finish trimmed buds when the time comes, and then lastly, of course, I'll post a yield and smoke report, so I guess it'll stay open til then if anyone wishes to comment.
I had a ton of fun with this plant and with you guys in this journal. Thanks again. And several of you helped me on this with questions/discussions/etc....you know who you are, and special thanks to you guys.
Enjoy!!!
