Think it's possible that in the three months or so that soil sat in that pile it developed a colony of useful microbes on it's own? Like maybe there was enough still living root material in the pile to support the development of a colony and that's what is sustaining this plant? I'm totally guessing and grasping at straws. That's the only thing I can come up with. Spent soil 36 days in and she looks healthy as an ox. Mystifying.No nutes yet...and in used soil? Wow...wish that Sohum soil was available around here.
