Jon's Dedicated Fruity Pebble Cookies Grow Plus The Mystery Plant

I don't know if any of you guys are big enough Simpsons fans to get this, but I almost went with a play on the episode where Homer goes to the car show and finds models posing around each car, and every single guy, one after another, who goes up to the car says the same thing, "do YOU come with the car?" Lmao.

So I was going to say, "Do YOU come with the grow?" but I didn't think anyone would make the connection. Lol!!
That's my 3rd favorite Simpson's episode. My favorite is the tomacco episode followed by Ottos wedding

Ha! I think number one is Bart's Bad Day, with Tony and what's a truck? Lmao.

I just had a friend stop by and made ANOTHER trade. This particular friend's friend seems to have the Florida street weed goods. He even knew the breeder on this one, I was impressed. So here's what I have now due to the trade:

Blue Sunset Sherbert (F)

BARNEY’S FARM > BLUE SUNSET SHERBERT (SUNSET SHERBET X PURPLE PUNCH)
Blue Sunset Sherbert is a 65% indica, 35% sativa hybrid strain bred by crossing Sunset Sherbet with the Purple Punch strain. These are robust, compact plants whose strength is easily able to support the development of dense, sticky colas. An easy strain suitable for the beginner grower.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, Blue Sunset Sherbet is a delight for growers in any environment with its colourful display of autumnal foliage. Indoors, plants reach up to 80 cm. tall producing yields of 650 – 700 gr/m2 in 59 – 63 days of florescence. Outdoor plants grow taller at 150 – 200 cm. with each one capable of yielding about 1000 gr. with northern latitude harvests ready in October. Expect some exotic colours with shades of purple, blue, red and orange covered in a white frosting of resin-exuding trichomes.
Sweet candy, citrus zest, and sweet berry scents are provided courtesy of limonene, humulene and terpinolene terpenes and these are complemented by flavours of sherbet dabbers and Purple Punch added to the sweet, citrus. THC production is at very high levels, up to 28%, which produces a nicely-balanced blend of creative and euphoric sativa together with a full-indica body stone providing the relaxation.

And here's what it looks like, live, in sun and shadow:

You'll have to rewatch that Ottos wedding episode it's a classic. Best line of the show from Marge " these wedding invitations are written on such delicate tissue paper'

It would be funny to see this Zkittlez next to your Candida.

Any reference point for this in Shedland?
None at all. All my pistils look the same from plant to plant.
I need mine to drop canopy level RH by 30 points. Sounds like a lot but I am certain it will do it easily due to it being too large for the space really, like yours. What I'm wondering is how long it takes. I would think that the machine will work harder at first to get down to where I want it, but once it's there it will relax and have a much easier time maintaining that level, yes? I expect it to keep shutting off and on all day as it reaches it's number and shuts off until it rises however much it has to rise for the machine to re-engage and bring it back to the target number. ?
I recall that Buds Buddy found that his dehuey raised the heck out of the temps in his grow room.
it still got to 90F again today. I'm thinking it's because of the dehumidifier running as it puts out hot air. I'll turn it off tomorrow & see what happens.
Yep, It was the Dehumidifier causing the High Temps. Grow room stayed 73 - 78F
Something to keep in mind Justin Case.
This is what de-flarfed Spud Bud branches look like - I removed about five of these.
I personally would leave most of that on given how wide the spacing is.

Mine always have too. Interesting. The pistil thing I mean.

Yes, that heat situation is my primary concern. I'm thinking I may be able to position it so that the heat exhaust is aimed at the lower rectangular port and dissipate it that way if necessary. We'll find out tomorrow, I'm sure it won't take long.

I wasn't going to take anything, but these five were all bent at the stem point and facing the 6 on the clock. If the point where they joined the stem had not been "broken without being cut" and I could have saved them I would have, if for no other reason than to try and beat one ounce off this plant. Lol.

EDIT: I also have a potential backup plan. This unit is rated for a large space. I may be able to put it in the middle of this little garage, leaving the garage door closed and the door to the house opened, and dehumidify the garage itself rather than the 5x5. If the garage RH is very low and it's sealed, the tent RH will automatically be lower.

Thanks!

Fan Game Upgrade

Tonight's chore was to raise the big fan in the small tent so that it is blowing directly onto the center mass in the top of Titan, and to create a similar situation in the lennai rig for the Zkittlez.

Titan's top is getting dense as hell already, you can kind of see it in the forming missiles here:

So we raised her big fan as high as we had to so that a ton of air is now flowing over the entire center mass. It took quite a tower to achieve this:

The job was significantly easier for the Zkittlez, lol:

And this is a super closeup on the pair of little budlets that begin at the base of a Zkittlez cola:

Morning @Jon! I tried something different today, I snipped a test bud off the lsd-25, put it on the counter and put the scope in it's stand and finally got some decent trich pics. Please let me know what you think. I chopped her sister yesterday, she was a few days ahead of this one all grow.

Thanks my friend, have a great Friday!
Happy Friday @BubbaKush909! WOW!!!

First, let me say those are some excellent trichome pictures. Far superior effort. Isn't it great when the bud and scope both are motionless? Lol.

Next, the overall look of the buds is highly awesome with a super cool factor tossed in too, very exotic looking, and makes me want to smoke it badly. Great job.

On to the trichs themselves relative to harvesting. Well, you are at personal preference point here imho. The trichomes are almost 100% super white milky (actually one of the more consistent blankets I've seen), with barely any clear and barely any amber. If you want to end up with the highest THC level and the most "up" or "sativa" -esque buzz, harvest this now. That's where you are in these pictures, and honestly this is a perfect example of my absolute preferred harvest point on almost any plant. If you want more of a body experience and more of a "couch lock" effect, wait until more ambers develop. Depends on your preference. Mine is high THC coke weed. Lol.

Here's one more idea, and honestly this is what I would do. Can you put this plant by itself in a closed bedroom closet or something where it's dark and you can toss a fan in? If you do, what I would do with this plant is pick a start time today, maybe at regular bedtime, and put her in the closet in the dark. Keep her that way for 36 hours. Then take her out and chop her. You should see an increase in those sweet trichs doing that, and it will give the trichomes a day and a half to develop a bit more, but definitely not more amber than you want in only that time. @Emilya and many others swear by this procedure from what I've seen, and whenever I do it I am very happy with the results. If she needs water, give her just a little for the day and no more and then when you chop after the dark time she will be light and dry.

Bounce it off some others, but that's my two cents. Congratulations, man, you brought this one home very nicely. Just don't fuc- up the dry and cure.

FRIDAY PORN DAY

Zkittlez Auto
Day 44

The Zkittlez is just jamming. She's loving her six hours a day or so of pure sunlight. Makes for better pictures too. Btw - she's only in a 3, due to my available soil at the time. Between that and being subject to the outdoor environment and spending hours daily in direct sunlight, her pot dries out to bone dry almost every day. This is pretty cool, as it allows me to feed often. At this point, until she shows me it's not okay, she is getting 1 tbsp/gallon of both Terpinator and molasses with each and every watering, and this will continue through harvest in theory. The buds are forming beautifully, this is the best example of Zkittlez I have grown yet. My Gorilla Zkittlez (very first ever auto grown!) came out great, but was very small and the buds didn't develop nearly as sweetly. Granted, I'm a better grower now than then, but still, it's a nice example of the strain I think. She's beginning to smell too as she frosts up. So far just a sweet dankness that you only get from time to time depending on the wind. Lol.

Here's the porn part:

LOL I'll try not to fuk it up! Can't really do the darkness think but I just put a small nail through the base of the stem in honor of @Emilya. Thanks for the feedback I'll chop it first thing in the morning.

A nail through the heart is a wonderful way to remember me, thank you! :rofl:

If I were you I'd get a really good picture of the stem with the nail through it and keep it in the bank for future contests.

Titan
Day 60

What can I say about this incredible plant? She's off the charts on every level.

1. This is an overhead shot., or as close as I can get to one.

2. Here's a zoom on the tops.

3. This is one of her missiles.

4 Here's the other missile.

5 - 7. This is a 3-picture tour of Titan's lower ring, from left to right.

8 - 11. These are various bud closeups.

I cannot imagine what this plant is going to yield. I have no reference point in my auto growing experience for the genetics I've been watching unfold here. Truly astounding. So glad I now have 3 different Double XL auto strains ready to pop whenever I want. Yay! Forbidden Runtz and Banana Sherbet are the other two I have. Can't wait to grow another of these and see if they're all like this or if I just got lucky.

Defol/Maintenance

It was time to ensure that each of my 8 colas gets nice air flow between one another and space to grow as they wish unfettered, and to open up the middle and max light-to-bud exposure. I believe this has been accomplished here and no further defoliation will happen with this girl. We're on auto pilot now. The GeoFlora Nutrients do all the work, lol. The great part is that when I water her I am able to water her directly out of the hose. This allows me to use the "shower" setting on the nozzle, which projects water in a hollow, round cylinder at whatever speed you choose by how much you open the valve. What's so great about this you ask? (lol) It allows me to water at very high water pressure, yet not so high that dirt goes flying everywhere. The stream penetrates into the soil much more deeply than with no pressure. I feel that this forces a lot of air into the root ball all around the plant, and there's simply no way that's not a highly positive thing.

Here are the results of my efforts.

Sneak Preview Post for those in the Loop

Guess what guys? This afternoon I have to raise the light in the 5x5. No choice.

Which means that all the plants must exit the tent. This light is so big it is difficult to raise over plants if you run out of adjustment line cable length, as I have. I have to eliminate the adjustment cables altogether on both sides and hang the light from the ceiling itself. That would be too high, however, so when I do it I will display the solution to that.

Which means that this afternoon I will post real light pictures of each plant. Then we'll really see what's what. I am very excited to see them this way, even though I don't want to hassle with this. If I don't, I will have buds brushing my light, and that's not exactly what we're going for here. Lol.

All I am waiting on is for my stepfather to return in his van, as the van serves a very important stealth function.

This is going to be fun and hopefully provide some real sun super porn. We'll see.

HEH.
