Here are a couple plants I am currently growing in a Coco hempy.
Thought I would shed some light on what I do so I don't end up with issues.
* I don't worry about PH runoff, ever. Only the PH going in.
* I try and only buy Canna coco in bags. Not the compressed stuff. Which can have salt buildup. Cheap coco will never grow stuff properly
* Your light may be a bit to much for the seedling at this point. Too much light will cause them to consume all the nitrogen in their leaves. Causing yellowing.
* I water until significant runoff every single feeding, and I feed every time I water. I feed them when they are small once every four days, and when they are grown once every 2-3 days. Of course I don't actually start "feeding nutrients" until their second or third set of true leaves.
* Watering until runoff will keep salt build up away. A lot of people consider it "flushing", but it isn't, because I am doing it with full nutrients. It is just washing away all the old garbage.
* I never start them in hempy buckets. Start them in small solo cups, with just coco and perlite and holes punched in the bottom.
* Since Coco is a passive hydroponic system, there is no point in adding molasses.
* You already have the PH nailed at 5.8, but make sure hyou have a good PH meter and you calibrate it every time (unless it is one of the bluelab guardians for $250, only once a month then). Cheap PH meters will fuck your grow up in the long run.
* I give seedlings/sprouts 50ppm of Calmag+
If you have any other questions let me know.
Looking good Jinn. Hows the PC doing?
Hey Jinn. Finally subbed up, sorry it took so long.
Looking great so far! Loving the strains.
I grew barneys pineapple chunk last round, hope you see the same indica dominant phenos I did. Also, I believe we are both growing the same SSH, will be great to see how yours turn out.
Happy growing buddy, glad to be along for the ride.
Stay safe.
