Jdubs 3 Part - T5 CFL Grow

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

Ok I looked into it, they sound pretty fucked.... But its only one of my plants thats yellowing, and its one that has straight ffof in it... It is in a one gallon pot though.. do you think it may be rootbound? My other girls are in 3 gal pots and they have mixed soil in them... (Noob mistake) but they are doing great.. aside from the hairs starting to brown.. in fact I believe I saw an earthworm in the pot of my healthyest baby..:)

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

Well, when diagnosing problems you have so start with the easiest basics first. Ph is always the first variable to check. If that is ok, then look for other issues like disease or insects. Above ground, problems are easier to spot and i always start there. Then look to the soil if problems still exist. 4twenty4all is an aphid expert. You might wanna send him a pm. Since you have less than 50 posts, i will contact him and ask hom to take a look at your journal. But, first buy a soil ph probe. They cost about $10.

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

Yo Jdub! Looking good, don't fret ;-) Sounds like you are catching on to what caused the problems, nice!

I looked at the pictures and here is my two cents ;-)

1. I think you should have started using nutrients after about the first 10 days or so after the transplant. As aggressive as we grow these plants we need to feed as they are very hungry, hehe.

2. Your plant in the 1 gallon is showing worse signs because there was less nutrients for it because it had 2 gallons less of soil than your other plants. In my opinion you should transplant that one plant into a 3 gallon pot now as soon as the soil dries out. Then give it a dose of fresh water for the first two or three waterings. Then get it on the nutrient schedule with the others.

3. Pick off the yellow and spotted fan leaves, they will allow more light to the buds and will not provide any nutrition in emergency anyway since they are near dead.

4. Are the hairs turning brown on all plants? Show some pictures of those and show or explain where they are please.

I hope this helps, stay on track now and you'll be fine bro!

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

Sweet, thank you 420 , ill take some pics of the hairs in the morning, but its only one strain thats starting to turn, so 4 plants, gush are the ones... Transplanting now won't hurt it? I'm taking your word for it as you are experienced and i am not..lol, n e ways, tired about to get off work, so ill post in the morning again.. thank you

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

Hey Jdub, No worries.....I promise transplanting will not hurt at this stage. Just be as gentle as possible with that root ball and wait til its fairly dry. It will benefit your plant and give you a healthier plant and a bigger yield now. Just make sure to water this one with plain water for the first few waterings. I'll check in on ya ;-) Your doing god so far :thumb:

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

So, bejng as these are both 7-8 week strains, and I'm going into week 4 I need to start learning a little more, I've been checkin around the site and havent found exactly what I'm looking for, so maybe one of you can help... Can someone give me a link to a pic. Of what regular trics and done ones look like..( clear and cloudy), i can't find one anywhere... And advice on flushing my plants also would be nice, maybe bpn has input on this as I'm using your nutes? Thank you all..

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

Alright sent him a pm... Didn't quite know how to find him or what you meant by sig? I assumed it meant signiture but didn't see it at the bottom of any of his posts...

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

Morning everyone, just a little update here, no bud porn today...:( phone camera being weird, everything is looking great, nice and perky, since I figure I've only got a few weeks left anyways, I'm just going to keep the ones that are in 1gal pots in there, no transplanting.. thank you 420forall for the advice, because now I have learned to not use one gal pots thru completeion, but this time around I am limited on space, right now everything fits like a puzzle perfectly in my closet. So I started a new feeding schedule for those ones, ( I should have known to do that from the beginning) and now the yellowing is going away slowly, :) blue planet, not sure if my p.m. went thru to goldengoose, could you maybe post a link to this recipe? Or advise me on how to find it myself, I am still trying to get used to the whole site.. thank you all and appreciate everyones feedback:thanks:

Re: BPN Floura Grow - Noob

hay man just got caught up on your grow i must say your doing quite well what i would recommend is starting your seedlings in a 0-0-0 mix like perlite and you would need other things as well and water it with water with very little vitamin b mix very nice and cheep grow stuff and add nutes as needed. if your doing a another indoor soil
