Jay233 Perpetual Grow - Photos - Autos in Coco

Re: Jay233 perpetual grow, photos and autos in coco

I'm worried about my temps outside. We're in the 90's already.
I see lots of ppl on here I know are awesome outdoor guys.
Do you've shade nearby?

Yeah I was pretty nervous when I first put my girls outside too...we haven't had a day under 90 since they went outside a month ago and they are doing fine...a little neglect when they first went outside slowed them down a little but they are doing just fine now. They are in a relatively shady spot...they are protected on three sides by very large bushes (more for stealth than shade) but they do get a good period of direct sun

Re: Jay233 perpetual grow, photos and autos in coco

I'm pretty happy with the temp in the tent now... 75° F during lights off and 78/79° during lights on ...I found that by actually reducing the exhaust fan speed a little I actually was able to reduce the lights on temp by 1 or 2°...the temp has remained steady for a solid week...the AC runs 24/7 because the outdoor night temp is usually around 80° F...i keep the AC set at 74° and that seems to be the sweet spot

One Vast and Fast auto and 3 Kerala x Skunk (reg) seeds went into solo cups with coco and perilite after soaking for 30 hrs...tap roots were just starting to show...they are in the tent until they poke above the soil and then they will go outside

I have been thinking about taking a couple clones off the outside girls...just need to decide whether to root them in soil outside or in the cloner inside... I prefer inside but it will require a separate propagation area...still undecided

Re: Jay233 perpetual grow, photos and autos in coco

I haven't started it yet...so much to do here... I've been working on the riding lawnmower and I can't get it started...so I mowed about 5 acres yesterday with a push mower (not self-propelled) LOL...I set up the smaller indoor tent last week and the climate is dialed in nicely now...three plants in there...gonna work on cleaning out the four car garage today and maybe work on the boat if I still have energy...the greenhouse will go up as soon as the kids go back to Utah...probably a few weeks

Thank you for stopping by Grizzwald :thumb:

looking good jay, did you say boat? want to post her in my OT thread? feel free, you see my boat in there, thank you for the critter share

never use the same route to girls in the woods, leave no path for undesirables to follow. :circle-of-love:

Re: Jay233 perpetual grow, photos and autos in coco

:thumb:also RE outdoors, if you use molasses or guano, expect many bugs within hours, :nicethread:
I'm glad you posted that Trichs. I would've used both.

are you going to put these in the ground, out in the woods? i have a picture in my head of you, trapsing thru prickers.

girls are looking very happy, Jay :goodjob:

Ha ha yes they are "out in the woods"...that's where I live now :)

I was thinking about putting two in the ground for comparison...mainly I am worried about heat to the roots...this outdoor growing is all new to me

Right on, I was thinking that you were going to find some spots and put ;em out "in the wild" as opposed to in your immediate yard, thank s Jay.

be prepared, I just got invaded by critters, pulled 5 worms/caterpillars off Fluxy today, moths apparently hit her in the daylight,

I'm basically horrified at what I got goin on this week. a lot of horror.

I am sorry to hear that ...Thank you for the "heads up"...it looks like you have a close eye on those buggers so all should be good

Jay I see your saying your worrying about outdoor growing, man that's the thing.. Growing outdoors you don't need to worry. Man bugs won't do no bad especially if you keep a look out. Plants in ground, grow monsters. Man plants adapt outdoors. Roots move and enjoy the search for a dink. Always moist soil somewhere. I've grown 20years plus outdoors man, honestly can go a month without seeing them, thinking it's been hot/ dry, never issues man, might lose a branch from wind or tree debry, maybe few leaves eaten, bugs in buds, quick look, get em out, it's enjoyable.compost and water when you see them, they'll be good.stressing is for indoors, you can't control environment outdoors, it's why they take 7+ months to get your grow done. Only time to stress man is when your got three- four weeks left flowering and buds are fat and it starts raining days on end. Watch for damp plants towards end. If you see them all the time, every night, your can put black plastic over them to quicken up flowering, and keep dry. Peace mate.

Thank you GrizzWald...you are correct...I still want to try to control everything LOL...I think having the indoor girls now to worry about will help help me to just pretty much let the outside ones be :)

Nice info Gris. I want to do the same thing next year. Gorilla Grow at least 3-5 different sites. In you opinon how many plants per site? And what do you do to the soil? And what do you do for nutrients?
