Jay233 Grows With New 675W Perfect Sun COB LED In Coco

LEDRF are you are able to answer my question please as I am interested in purchasing several of your lights. What COB's are used in this light please? I know they are 50w Cree but what chip CXA or CXB, model #, what CRi, what 3500k or 3000k? Also what drivers run the COB is it a meanwell? Is there any spec sheet on the lights other than Cree 50w COBS? Thanks

I don't run the cxb because they aren't as efficient. They start at 160w, BTW, not 50w. You can always run them super low at 50w, but I prefer the 3000k that CXA offers, the 65w kind and run them at around 45w. More efficient in my testing for highest average par for 4x4.

I have been trying to beat my Goliath's super high average par for 4x4 at 2 feet away- 582. A 1000w HPS does 575 or so. PS COB does 569.

I haven't seen an LED using around the same low watts 575w (Goliath) and getting anywhere near 582 average umols for 4x4 at 2 feet away.

Looking great brother. I've got to get me one of those lights.
Neil's lights are the best quality for a true full spectrum LED. As well as the best price. And the results speak for themselves. Several people have reproduced Neil's claim on the potential yields you can get off of these lights.

I've been very busy. One more plant to harvest, been trimming through the night the last two days. Going to be flipping to 12/12 tonight. Have to throughly clean the room, move the COB led into the flower room and unfortunately my dehumidifier stopped working yesterday. Perfect timing as the room is exactly between grows but hope I can get it sorted by tonight.

The flower room is sealed with AC on a temp controler. 78 degrees F lights on and 74 degrees F lights off with a 2 degree tolerance. The space is 4 feet long by 7 feet wide but I will be using a 4 feet x 4 feet area under the COB. About to be lots of buds .

Nice.

According to my lights shipping tracking info. It is in a warehouse a couple hours away.

Should I go break into it and collect my property or would that be frowned upon
I've thought the same thing with a few items I was excited about receiving lol .
Sounds like you should get it tomorrow, congratulations .

Flower room has been throughly cleaned. PS COB has been moved to the flower room and the four Dutch Delight have been moved into the flower room.
The rooms I recently built are well insulated and sealed with 4 mil plastic on the inside and on the outside. Still have to line the interior with reflective insulation board but that is mostly just cosmetic at this point and a 4 foot by 7 foot flood tray will be the final flooring. The room is fully functional tho. Little tough to get good pictures of the inside from the doorway but I'll try the best I can.

The temp is perfect with the AC is on a day night controler, the Humidity is holding at 40% and the water is pumped to the outside. The plants are taking up a 4 foot by 5 foot footprint and I will be letting them grow vertical now with light, periodic selective training to mantain proper airflow and to try to keep the canopy fairly even from the middle to the center under the light. The edges will be allowed to grow vertical with little to no manipulation.

Good to see you are getting dialed in.
Good feeling, right!
Yes ! Let them girls stretch. And those lights will prove magical.
.
Yes sir it is a good feeling. Next step is running a water line with a float valve to top off two res. and running drip feeders. Hoping to automate as much as I can afford to lol.
Yes they are filling the horizontal space perfectly and just a little periodic defol as they stretch should allow this PS COB to work it's Majic .

Very even canopy right now. Awesome. Boob, soon big, frosty nugs.

Thank you sir. Yes, the COB is covering this space perfectly.

Here is an update of the growth through stretch. They have filled in together just right the stretch was exactly what I was hoping for at this point. Still very tight node spacing and with the amount of tops this should be a solid mass of fat frosty buds very soon. :)
The canopy is still perfectly level across the top.
In the next few days I will be adding a little Advanced Nutrients Big Bud coco to the nutrient solution.

I had a little extra light coverge left to right so I added a Bubblegum auto in as well.

The Perfect Sun COB is the only light I am using in this room.
