I can honestly say that P-ROC is KICK ASS! Between it and my cross HYBID (from BID BEANZ) I am in awe of the big guys creations. The amount of effort and care he put into the creation of his BEAN collection is evident in the final product. MISS HIM SO MUCH!
Until recently I had a real problem with sprouting and growing from beans, but I have started selecting them based on their color and spots. The golden brown seeds with dark spots seem to work for me. I start in paper towels and wait for the root to show before putting them in Rapid Rooter plugs. I add a root growth hormone to the water and get good root production. If going in soil I use a small amount of White Shark where the plug is to be transplanted, otherwise straight into the hydro net. Good luck on your sprouts. BTW direct exposure to air is not good for roots, keep a cup or tray of water handy to put them in when transferring from one stage to the next!I'm just hoping I can get these to veg, that way MAYBE I can have some fun growing these. Recent track record of poppin beans is abysmal. And maybe- hopefully- I get the 1:8 purple pheno. gawdz I hope so.
I feel like I'm treading on sacred ground just reading this. While researching coco, I ran into an article/topic "Lets Talk Coco! Organics & Salts". That ate up a couple of hours........and through various links, landed me here. Amongst the cream of the crop. So, if you don't mind, I'll just sit here and peek at whatever follows .......

Sorry your P-ROC didn't work out for you...I am lucky to have 4 lovely P-ROC ladies in hydro and look forward to cloning some in the next couple of days. I have to make some space first; it's too hot in the storage room now, but will be cooler in another month or so. I only had one K-ROC plant start for me and was outside at the end of spring and went to flower before I had trained it so it produced very little. Timing is EVERYTHING it seems, especially outside. Transplant too early you get buds before the plants have much size. I did get enough production from the HYBID and P-ROC to get me through the Summer though so not all bad! I had a hard time getting the P-ROC to reveg, but the HYBID did well as you can see in my journal. Good luck with your K-ROC!OH! before I forget... I'm switching gears... Not going with P-ROK. Will be going with K-ROC (Royal Purple Kush x Purple Maroc) also sent by the BID for poppin' beanz
