Well she’ll be getting a res change today,
I had to top the res off 1 gallon mid week.

still training, I haven’t trained a plant yet with out breaking a branch. This one is no different.

Not sure if you've tried it this way, so I'll throw this out: when you're doing training, locate the stress point where the bend is going to happen. Put your index, and middle finger together, and then with the branch between those fingers and your thumb gently start to soften the plant tissues making them more malible.
Unless the breaks were in spots where there was no planned training.

Good job taping it up! should heal fine!!

That’s my primary method along with the pinch and twist method. I’m not sure how I snapped this one it happened pretty fast and honestly it wasn’t even the branch I wanted

No way man, I’ll need that stuff to keep me on my toes. I still have TONS of stuff I need to learn.
And honestly all the success I’ve had to date has come from the guys just like you on this forum.

Not much to update,
She’s just vegging and getting close to flip, I’m waiting a bit longer to flip as this SHOULD be my last flower inside of a tent.
I’ll flower the big Bud and seedlings I have while I’m building my new room. In the mean time I’ve been playing with Mrs. Bongs Nikon and damn have I been
missing out or what!
Still figuring it out but it will be handy come flower time.

My young ladies got their first true meal today, lower leaves were beginning to yellow.
Also the broken branch on the Big Bud is healed and stronger then before.
My stash jars are telling me to flip her now, my heart’s telling me to wait until I’ve reached all 4 corners of the tent first. But it’s getting close that’s for sure.

Thank you , roughly 8-9 weeks from seed she went into the bucket just under 2 weeks old on Oct. 27.

I’ve got a new theory about flipping.. when the new branches and buds start to form out of pattern , and or when the plant start to show sexual maturity ( features) I’ll flip.
bigger plants , better return. for sure .
why put in all the effort if you don’t let her grow to her full potential I say! That is u less height is an issue

I’m aiming for 12 week veg with one I know is ready to flip to be sure .. but her sister is still a week or two out .
considering the outdoor growing season.. the longer the veg, the better I think .

That was my reasoning as well other then just experimenting with dwc altogether. I pulled 15 oz out of this tent last harvest with 6 plants in 5gal coco. I know that’s achievable with 1 plant as long I’m patient and methodical with training. But really just seeing if I can match/surpass the mark.

Im looking forward to the Durban wish I started it with the last seedling batch but gonna give her a new room to stretch out in soon. And Blue Mystic(it was an auto) has been my tastiest buds to date.

I seem to have gotten my soup dialed in just right on my DWC bucket:

3gal in the res
15ml Cal-Mag (Sits overnight typically but atleast an hour if not)
15ml hydro store brand veg base
-Stopped the VooDoo-
pH to 5.8
1.5ml Z7 A&B

My water level drops roughly .5 gal a day while my ec slightly drifts down(5-10ppm) and ph slightly up (5.8-6.0)
I top off with plain water every other to bring my water level back up.

Got My seedlings moved into some larger containers got the stretchy 2 buried another inch deeper. It is time to look at a bigger circulation fan though.

I ordered these from Nirvana and got my order doubled since I used Crypto. They only do this once so I only did it once. But they held up their end of the deal.
