Jack Herer & Panama Red In Doc's Hi Brix

Thanks for stopping in, I wait until they look like they can't last another day without water then I water, about every 7-9 days. They are sitting on carpet on top of my house subfloor which is 3' off the ground and insulated as well. I was hoping to get another 2 weeks with the 1 gal. High temps are around 80 highest and low can get down to 70. I know enviorment can be a bit better, the lows can get to 65 at times but not too often. I've grown in this tent for 3 seasons so far and havnt had this yet. All good, new strain, new soil and new nutrients. It will be a learning curve for sure. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you stay a while. All input is appreciated. Happy thanksgiving
They should need water more than every 7 days.....

Fabric pots? How many full strength Transplant drenched?

What is your dunking method?

Every 7 to 9 days......they look like maybe every 2 days to me, being the size they are.

Can you post some pics of the stems and lower leaves. And the new growth?

Taking a seat if you don't mind calicanna. Love me some high brix journals. Might not say too much sometimes but that's just cause I still very new to high brix growing and don't want to give out wrong advise lol. Be will be watching every step on the way.
Been wanting to try the Panama red for awhile now. Enjoy your day

I sprayed with destress, I also added a few more strains, dream queen, blue dream, platinum OG,the white..well see how it goes. I also replaced my purple led light with the dwarf star which is a lot brighter. Here's some nice pics. Please let me know if you see anything off, I'm starting to see more leaf fade on the fans, new growth looks good but I think they're a bit under par.

ng off. So far so good

I'm going to stop looking at pics on my phone! Obviously you're in plastic pots.....great!

So, the only thing that seems amiss is that you water every 7 to 9 days. I'd be watering every 3 days or so judging by the pics.

Have you given them Transplant?

Here's the plan:

Deep soak in pure water for 5 minutes next time they need water....like in 3 days. While they're soaking, prepare a Transplant solution 1oz per gallon of water, with 6mills (yes, I said 6mils) of Tea per gallon. This is the Rescue Drench.

When you remove the pot from the water, tilt it this way and that and let it drain as much as possible, then SLOWLY dribble about 1 quart of the Rescue Drench down the top.

Use GE next time.

They should perk right up.

Question: how many times have you used Transplant so far?

They're still kinda small to me, around 12". They're in plastic pots, I dunk with about 3 gal water double strength. I let sit in water until I see water emerge at top of soil and drain while turning around until onle very little drops are coming out. Here's some pics from this morning after a little defoliation. I'm out of town till tomorrow then I'll get pics of stems. I've done one full transplant and one full GE. I looked at roots today and they are filled in like you instruct.theyarent in too bad of shape,
just a bit under the weather

Welcome, my journal might be a good one due to a few mistakes and problems. This panama is stabilized with

Sorry about the "fabric pot" thing. I can't see pics that clearly on my phone, but I'm on the laptop now.

They don't look too bad, actually. Are they getting enough light?

Go ahead and do the Rescue Drench as described above and you should be in the clear. I'd like to see those purple petioles turn green.

I hear ya doc, I do everything on my small ass kindle, I Need a better camera for these pics. I will continue as planned for rescue drench then go ahead and transplant to bigger pots after. I wanna thank everyone for their ongoing support and please speak up if something seems off

Those aren't ready to transplant just yet. 2 more weeks. You'll be dunking daily at that point....or should be.

For your help and information, here us what I just finished doing in my garden. These Grape Apes are ready to bloom now, but will wait about 2 weeks, at which time Ill prune them again.

Before and after. What the roots look like, and a comparison between these and some Blue Kush that isn't quite ready.

Lets get them a more well developed root system and all the communication between root and soil up to par before transplanting.

Great info and pics.. Thanks so much. I'll post a pic of my roots when I get home tomorrow, they're looking close to yours but still a ways off

They look pretty good, just maybe a bit cold at night. What us the floor?

The purple Jack.....interesting. Don't know what to make of that just yet.

Let them dey out but not to wilting, and do a normal Transplant drench. They look pretty good.

I'm on carpet with insulation under floor under house. They just don't look as vibrant as what I'm used to. The purple jack is very weird, seeds from across the pond. I've grown jack 15 years ago and never seen that. I'll post pics daily for comparison. About 2 more days until soil will be dry enough. Lights off temps which is day time is around 70's, can get a bit lower until wife turns on house heater but generally around 70. Should I stop brix foliar or continue as planned with that

Their metabolism is slow, which often is due to low temps at night, a heat sink for a floor, or really cold water.

By far the most common issue is the heat sink, and your night temps are fine.

Did you mix up the entire bale of Promix?

That's good to hear, I mixed up the whole kit, a couple months ago. There was a time it got up to high 80's in the room but not for more than a week. Also, my flower tent lows is 61 lights off, and that is only until the heater can catch up once it comes on. I just put a temp monitor in my veg tent and I'll post results in a day or 2.

61 lights off? How long does it stay that way?

BTW, huge temperature swings over a couple hours is stressful to the plant in a bad way.

So, we know you cooked the soil right. I question the floor still....is it concrete underneath? If so, just to rule it out, see it you can't put an inch of foam insulation under them.

Think of sleeping on a cold slab with carpet for a sleeping bag......

Of course, if you're not on a slab and the floor is warm, we can rule that out.

Nevertheless, the plants look healthy----for cannabis grown in a cold environment. Keep drenches on the lighter side until the metabolism speeds up.

No concrete under floor, although there is in my flower room, which I have 1" foam under the tent. Still working on fixing cold temp issue in that room. Right now my veg s 75 steady lights on, RH 65 at soil below plants. These plants were great until topped and started dunking. Could be strain or more than likely my mistake. I just want to Gert the kit dialed in for next grow even if I screw this one up. I can't get a perfect enviorment in the flower room, but I'll get it close. I've looked into split units and if we weren't selling our property in a year I'd buy one, maybe after

OK, we've got some things to work with here. As I've said many times for many years, the environment is the most important aspect of any grow, but even more so for living soil/biological growing.

75 is too cool on its own. But adding that 65% rH is making it hard. See if you can't get your temps up to 78 and I'll bet that rH comes right down to about 50. That alone will speed up the metabolism a great deal.

Is the water you're using for dunking super cold? Probably not, but just trying to cover all the variables.....

But in the meantime, get those daytime temps 78-80ish, with rH 50-60....higher rH for the higher temps. It makes a huge difference. I suspect this might just solve the problem.
