Invi's Second Attempt - Some Classic Strains

Just Make Sure Your NUGS Are BEEFY, And That The Trichromes Are(IMHO, At Least 30% Amber), As They Will Continue To Amber Up After Harvest. But NO ONE WANTS TO SMOKE IMMATURE WEED!!!:high-five: Least Of All YOU, With All The Effort You Have Put Into Them!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN:thumb:!!!

I dont care about her yield, all other strains seem to be heavy yielders - for her i had different expectations.
But compared to the rest of the strains, yes she looks kinda funny. A few stems with some buds her and there :)
I might have caused it with the mistakes.

I care a lot for the flower period though, if i really got that lucky that i got a quick flowering haze pheno with this much resin taste and all, that would make me soooo haaaappyyyyyyyy :)

The big question is if the 8 weeks are because of the wrong conditions, or this is her nature. Never heard that mistakes could speed up the flowering time though.
But ill see that during the winter grow i guess!

Next trich check is for the NL. Wonder how she looks like!

Cut the light way back, that will speed things up! It will also give you less yield!

Yes, my target was around 10-30% amber, or when i see any dark brown trichs on calyxes.
Im more afraid though to let her longer then a litlle early - last harvest i had some girls go for too long.

I mixed up days and weeks last post, what i mean is that the suggested 7-14 days harvest means she is exactly an 8 weeker.

So it could have been a mistake then. I gave 12 until now, just set the 250 back one hour, and the 400w 3 hours.
But then maybe other mistakes can have a similar effect...
 
Hmm just a sidenote.. maybe she did not get enough light? She was beneath the 250W bulb directly - co2 requires elevated lumen levels (7500 or above per sqfeet), that my garden had on average, but maybe close to the 250w bulb there wasn't enough light...?
That could explain her early finish then...?

To long lol u must be super pataint. What was the consequences? Just less potency?
Is ur plant to take a clone? And try again to see if ur pheno is 8weeks?
U could encourage seeds somewhere down the line u could sell ""invi's early slh"" in fem seed form :)

I had some sensis go way too far - they were like a strong hit n the head. No high just made me fall asleep in my chair...
Then i did the same for some of the Critical Jack Herers... They got simply too strong lol. I need some heavy hitters but it's okay if they make up only 20-30% of my harvest.
With the stoney stuff i usually have the feeling that i could do a lot of things, but won't because it naild me to the couch.
And usually like the mind-games a high strain puts me through. I laugh a lot at myself if noone's around, makes people so funny.
A bit reminds me of old acid memories.. :)
 
Invi, you gotta look at it differently, any issue is not necessarily a mistake per se, There is a lot going on, a person can hardly get their style dialed in perfectly....ever, it's an evolution of sorts....look at it more like what you liked, and what you would do different next time. I haven't had two grows go the same yet, I'm only on my eighth........and even growing mostly the same strains...........but I have weed all the time...good weed, and I don't have to pay the communists or the gangs for it! Try some sativas and take em when they show amber, that will get you on your feet....and make you think too!

Muha yes! Would be funny to start a myth like g13 or what's that govt superstrain :)

But i already figured a way in which it could be my mistake, like posted above, co2 has increased light requirements, and the 250W might have not been enough, even though on average the 400 and 250 bulbs provided the required amount of lumens for the whole area.
As McLoadie posted, not enough light might result in this - though im not sure if he meant lit only hours/day, or light intensity as well.

Yeah it's all so true.. and to be honest im incredibly satisfied with this grow. Only 2 things i feel bad about: repeated N od on a plant, having the knowledge about her sensitiveness and canna's ratios, and still i managed to do it :)
The other one is high temps, but heat stressed home grown is still lightyears better then street stuff, so no big deal there. I will time better next grow, and maybe will have even better yield. This harvest needs to last till march so yield was not really a factor this time.

And you mean letting them go more amber (maybe 50-70%?) wont result in more stoney effect, just a stronger high? I'm into that!
I just dont want it stoney at all.

Everything effects everything, that's why we like smoking other peoples home grown when we get the chance. I used to go to a party, party on the hill, and a lot of growers were present....almost everyone there.....and man, I really appreciate the diversity in weed, weed growin, and the heads that grow it....it's not a simple sport, but we love ya invi, and your weed!

Those parties must be really nice. I mean a lot of people, who has the patience to grow a plant, the attention to the not so obvious details. And the relatively smaller ego to learn from mistakes and be open enough to understand the plants and not just see their own wishes in them... :)
Never had the luck for such a community in person, must be great!

It's just like here on the forum, but ideas can be expressed over this site more accurately than on the phone. If you can be there in person I guarantee you gonna hang around a while, we are so fortunate to be able to do what we do...........it's all about relationships.....real quality living.....true freedom..........individuality melted together with the whole.......I'm afraid in the current world environment this is only possible for short bursts.....LOL....someone will try to f us up no matter....we too happy, and we too don't give a shit!
