InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Yeah I'm ready for the white crap to be gone and the green stuff to come back. Sell the motorcycle, buy a boat and a couple life jackets (1 and a half) and I'll be posting updates from a lake like @Grandpa Tokin

I'm what the leaf issue is there shed. P or K or a bug deal. Is it spreading a good amount? May just be some normal cell decay if they're old leaves too.

From the pics it dosent seem to be prudent. But you know the routine. Check vitals and proceed.

Shed-journal is in my footer below. Looks like your weather is a bit more back to normal? Those plants look freaking awesome. I am going to make a few changes, start using cistern water....had 4 crack today.
Your babies look good Nobody! I'm subbed. :thumb:
Spring has already sprung here, but there has to be some advantage to living in SoCal :).

Thanks Them! They are on the older side and the plant is due for a defol anyway, so I'll take those as well and see if I get more like it. With the transplant it's due for some more nutes anyway so it'll be getting a little bit more of everything.

Posting your pics from a boat on a [lake],
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Sounds like a journal I'm glad that I'm subbed to
But MadDab has smoke in his eyes.

Tuesday morning and the days are warming up (for now anyway!). Got my right foot and my left foot and walked in to see the shell and the membrane stuck on the Auto Masszar . The shell came off easy but I had to put a drop of water on the membrane (insane!) to soften it up enough to come off. No before pic in case anyone has a weak constitution, but here is what it looks like now:

No tap root showing yet but the pot is all soaked and ready to go.

Sour G is having a bit of yellowing and browning on a few leaves, about midway up the plant. New growth seems fine. Potassium? Nitrogen? The yellowing seems to be too random for Mg:

May your weather be changing away from the cold and your sheets be changing away from the flannel!
yea well spring is dumping buckets of water over my place so...

Wednesday morning, day 3 for the Auto Masszar and flip day 4 for the AK-47.

There's still no tap root at the bottom of the peat puck but the days are passing and the sun was out so I planted the little sucker and left it outside with the others. Every time I think I'll remember to plant it off to one side to allow more room for the LST, I forget! Oh well. Here it is when I got up this morning:

And here it is (centered damn it) in the pot. I put it below the surface of the soil so that as it grows I can fill in around it and bury the stem.

And just in case anyone is wondering, here is the AK. Flip was Saturday night, so that makes it day 4.

I'll be watering it tonight before lights out. My pH meter is way out of alignment, probably because I had it soaking in tap water to keep it wet rather than calibrating solution or something like that (I should have just left it dry like I used to). The calibration solution arrives today so I can get the nute pH correct. I did water the clones, Gold Leaf, and Sour G last night, but since I use that mix a lot (Sir) I know how much pH down to use to get it into range. I don't want to mess up the flowering nutes.

I'm hoping it's slow enough at work today that I can sneak in a nap!

Tops-a-plenty on that AK bud. Nice canopy to you should get some decent nugs.

Thanks Bilbo! It's a monstercrop clone so keeping it even remotely under control has been the funnest part of the grow :). Makes for excellent pruning practice.
Thats when you cut a clone from a plant in flower right? Ill look up the benefits of that now.

Good save on getting the helmet off. That really stunts them
Yeah some say it makes it s lil msinnstringer and let’s it get used to rough play early ? Bit I’m With you give it help less stress at early age is critical in my mind

Thursday morning and it was grey and foggy when I got up this morning, but I had faith in the forecast and by the time I left for work the sun was out :).

Auto Masszar (henceforth to be referred to as AM) sprout survived the night under the MarsHydro 300 and I poured a bit of distilled water around the outside of the peat this morning. The rest of the pot is still wet.

It was AK feeding day, so after calibrating the pH and TDS meters, I got to work. @The rooster had mentioned kicking up the silica to help strengthen the stems to support the buds so I thought I'd give that a try. I also went with more cal/mag+ as I'm running out of the eggshell/vinegar combo. I gave it 1.5 gallons and got about 18 ounces of runoff. Here's what went into a gallon of water at 210 TDS:

1 tsp Armor Si (+40 TDS)
6 ml Cal/Mag+ (+270)
2 tsp Grow Big (+520)
¼ tsp Open Sesame (+120)
1tsp Tiger Bloom (+190)
3 tbs Big Bloom (+200)
Total TDS: 1550
Nutes-only TDS: 1140
pH was 6.4
Ratio was 2 - 3 - 2.3

Runoff was 2140, which is high, especially considering runoff last time was less than nutes-in. I'll see how the plant looks in a couple of days before I decide if I want to do anything about it. I'll be backing off the Grow Big and bumping the Tiger Bloom next time anyway, so things will change.

That's all I've got for today! What have you got?
