Does beez's stipule ID method sway anyone on the others?
I wish it did, but here's some stipules from my male "houseplant",taken a few minutes ago...

It would sure be nice if the stipules were an indicator,but I think seeing pistils is the only way to be sure.
so we wait......
 
When you see crossed swords (stipules) I often see them mature into a female plant.
I have seen plants with crossed stipules mature into males which has made me feel that this is not very dependable. I wish it was though! :hookah:

if you were to take a clone and put it in flower, how long from the time you take the cutting until the time you would know the sex? Would this be a viable strategy for you at this point?
