Thanks leftout! I think if you're looking at a strain that only one place carries it doesn't matter what anyone else recommends. You gotta go where the seed is. Other than that, any one of the sponsors here would be great. I'm sure if you search the forums for the name of the store you're looking at you will find reviews and comments on their customer service and ship times.

could some bamboo sticks on the side of the pot and put a net (like a fish net) arund each tops to help support them and you still can move it around by doing that (just giving a idea)

Thanks Leftout . Bamboo will probably be needed after stretch anyway so I can leave more tops than I might otherwise and tie 'em up! No net though, too much to work with. Pipe cleaners on the other hand...

Auto Masszar seed, ready to go

It's listed thusly:
• Breeder: Critical Mass
• Monster Mass x Mazar x Big Bud Auto
• Very strong Skunk layered with sweet hash and ripe citrus.
• Effects are extremely strong (19% THC) with a powerful body stone paired with strong euphoria followed by a pleasantly happy high.
• 65 to 70 day finishes from the start
• Outdoors, volume averages 80-150 gr/seed

It's soaking in a bowl of tap water and H2O2 mixed at no specific ratio, and after about an hour I'll put in a bowl of distilled water, stick it in the cheez-its box, and leave it on the heat mat (not directly...I don't want to cook it!). Let's see how it goes .

That's why we're here Bonsai! To ask questions and get answers. So this is not a thread hijack at all (AS LONG AS I GET ANSWERS TO MY PAPER TOWEL QUESTION ABOVE )!

I would give thumbs up to both the Blueberry and the AK-47 from 420. They grew well (though some buds were so dense they ended up with botrytis last summer...high RH here!) and everyone who smokes them enjoys the high. The blueberry is indica dom and if you smoke it in a mellow mood will tend to make you seek a flat comfortable surface. Earlier in the evening and when with a crowd of happy people it didn't have that effect though. The AK definitely had more of a sativa feel, giggly and happy even when smoked lying on a couch .

Both were easy to grow, took a pounding of high TDS FoxFarms nutes without complaint. My Blueberry 2 with LST gave me 4 ounces dried! Train early and train often is my autoflower mantra. I don't top, but I seriously flatten . Read through my first two journals for complete details. Also, Moonshine grew Blueberries and liked them as well...some pretty big plants.

If it were me I’d put that seed in a bit less than an inch of soil and keep it moist, not wet. But we grow pretty differently in some ways so that might not work for you as it does me. I make a little column of seed raising mix/coco blend in the centre of the soil (using a paper roll cardboard core, and then wriggling it out). I haven’t grown many, but I’m about 10 for 10 with that method - i do it after 12-14hours in water.

And (@Pterostychus and anyone else who might not remember) I believe ‘chasing one’s tail’ is an old expression used to convey a sense of ‘going in circles’ or ‘running around in circles’. That other meaning is an unfortunate ‘modern’ phenomena...

Right, in the CBD thread! I had forgotten .

I haven't had any luck putting seeds in anything if they don't have a tap root (or even a little bit of "tail") so I'm hesitant to go that route. I'm hoping that by the time I get home this will not be a problem I need to solve!

Thanks Lowded! I think the meter will be okay since it continued working after the dunk, though there was so much moisture in the little window it was hard to read . The seed I'm giving a 65% survival rate. More news tonight! With luck it will have a tail when I get home.

I want to train early and often, but not using a microscope.....dwarfs are WAY too small.

I'll drag myself back to them, and read them all the way through. I sort of scanned before...

Thanks Bonsai! It's not all that intricate a circuit (like a cell phone where I have done the rice trick and it works!!!). I can always spray the inside with DeoxIt if it still seems damp tomorrow. Everyone should have a can of that!

Yay! I can see Friday now the rain is gone . Still overcast but bright and the plants are all outside. I was late for work today because I decided to flush the AK. It was completely dry and I didn't want to wait another 24 hours to get it some water.

First runoff was around 3800 TDS. I kept flooding it until I got down to around 450 before I really ran out of time. When the water stopped coming out of the bottom, I fed it 1 gallon of water with the following:
½ tsp Armor Si (+15 TDS)
3 ml cal/mag+ (+130)
2 tsp Grow Big (+630)
¼ tsp Open Sesame (+45)
1 tsp Tiger Bloom (+180)
3 tbs Big Bloom) (+110)
Total 1180 TDS @ 6.4 pH.

Approximate ratio FWIW: 2-5-3

I'm hoping these TDS numbers are correct, as I dropped the meter into the jug after the cal/mag! It's really hard to get that thing back out through the top of a milk jug so it got pretty wet. I did test it back in the tap water and it looked right, but I've taken it apart and left it sitting on top of the warm DVR box to dry out.

Speaking of warm spots, the Auto Masszar seed has cracked but no tap root has emerged after 48 hours. If it still hasn't by the time I get home should I go with paper towel on an open plate (or a closed bag...there are two schools of thought apparently)? I only have this one seed, so let me know!

Can you use a pk booster throughout entire flower ?
