InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Congrats on the house of scholars Shed. Be proud as its hard work these days to get these independent rug rats to keep on task long enough to get that far. Lopin just finished her last class and is much relieved to finally have her degree to pursue her next step in life. Great accomplishments from something I used to hold in my hand like a football. Well just trying to make sure you don't pass up such a grand accomplishment.

My daughter is a Junior in high school. She's attending the local community college as part of dual enrollment. She'll graduate high school and have an associates degree at the same time. Her first semester just finished. She got straight A's. Heaven forbid she ever gets a B. Not our rules, she's just neurotic about her grades. Got a 99.35 for her math grade. She's had the highest math average in the district since middle school. Got some of daddy's analytical gene, but I never had the drive in school she does.

:rip: little Dragon
Oh well, won't be my last failure to sprout!
:welcome: little lemon trees
Indeed! Though it might be premature, as these wouldn't be my first failure to sprout!
:bravo: to the young man on his college admissions!
:thanks: Amy.
That's great! You should promote him to go one of those cannabis business course. Not sure what they study in those courses but I'm guessing joint rolling techniques.
If he doesn't find college to his liking I'm sure he could find a job as a budtender, and he could offer in-store classes on joint rolling :).
The pic looks good again!
Phewf! Glad you're recovered.
Congrats on your son getting into college. Education is an important thing.
Thanks Professor!
Wish I'd done better when I was younger
I think most of us can say that.

Thanks Derby! Not passing it up at all. I gave him a big hug and told him how proud I was. Congrats on the football's graduation too. Tell her I said so. Oh wait, I'll tell her myself: Congratulations @LopinNSmokin !!!

My daughter is grade-focused as well. I never hear about what she's learning in her classes, just what her grades are!

Here's a little Saturday update while we're chatting...

Golden Tiger 1 is looking a bit better on day 8, though I really hope the other one is female as it's leading the pack by a long shot.

It's been a while since the mothers showed up here. Time for some trimming!

Except the Candida of course. It still needs a bit more recovery, but I see roots on the cuttings so I'm not concerned either way.

And last for the day, a bee on Sour G!

I'm glad I learned where the manual focus is on my phone!

I hope you're weekend is progressing nicely! Carry on...
:peace:

Thats a great shot!

budtender

Now that's an official title for something I could be.

You really turned the tide on those mothers, even Candida looks a bit healthy. She looks like I feel today, still flue really hope it will pass for Tuesday I don't dare to visit my moms like this she would not handle the flue now.

That bee is a welcome sight for my eyes, god I miss spring already. But today the Earth begins its returns in her projectory for summer weather again and that's great just knowing.

@Amy Gardner this must mean that you have summer solstice today or how does this work practically? :hippy:

Nice update Shed. Glad to see the Tiger coming around. Beeautiful shot too!
Thanks MrS! It's truly a runt compared to the other one though, Maybe it will just always be two inches shorter.
Thats a great shot!
:thanks:
Everything looking good except that one mother on the right looks a bit neglected.
LOL! It's happy to be alive, and thanks me every day for saving it :).
That is a great shot - beautiful colour and all
Well now I know it's good :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'd say to get your summer fix at Amy's place but it's all smoky there. On the plus side, there are places in the northern hemisphere that aren't too bad on the winter solstice. For example, this is my lux reading at noon on the shortest day of the year:

132,900 lux, but you can tell from the angle of the sensor that the sun is pretty low in the sky!

Ok you are right but I can't get to them anyway with my flue. :(

I can tell by just looking at the sun it's at its lowest now and our projectory is at its furthest away from her.

Just looked up, you got 3 more hours of sun light than me today. Low, yeah she can't get any lower here if she does she never comes back up. I know I'm bitching, further up they don't even get a glimps of sunlight this time of the year... but on the other hand they got Aurora Borealis, Northern lights.

I like the seasons we got and I love me some snow also, I have nothing against spending more time in my workshop and preferably with Hula-girl... :)

I will take this opportunity and wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and of course everybody who reads this as well.
:blunt:

Yes, everything is still alive. Here are the two Golden Tigers on day 10...

GT 1 is about .75" tall:

And GT 2 is about 3.25" tall:

Stretchy already :). The toothpicks are there from when it was windy yesterday afternoon, then it rained cats and dogs last night and the wind took the tarp off the roof :(. Guess where I spent the day! This time with drywall screws and a cordless drill. And I put wood strips along the drip line this time, because I think that's where the wind got under it to lift it. We'll see...

Anyway, in case I don't see you all tomorrow, I'd like to wish all of you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and a happy Chanukah. If you don't celebrate either of those two, happy holidays generally!

:circle-of-love:

Santa needs to bring you a couple gallons of Flex Seal and a roller. Paint that shit up.
