InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

There are definitely competing terms on that page. They giveth and two paragraphs later they taketh away.

They are definitely transparent in their mixed messages. :o_O

I think my favourite is the opening statement
From the first day we began planning our services at Phylos, we’ve carefully considered the ownership, use, and protection of the data that our customers would entrust to us
Yes - clearly you have.

Legalese - An overly complex connection of ideas meant to confuse and disorient the reader, while at the same time making time the most important idea and the reading of said document to be a waste of it.

 You remain ignorant of the pervasive impact of US culture on this young nation! I have seen 100times more American films than Australian ones and the same goes for TV shows. There would be very little culture shock at all if I came to visit you - except for maybe the scale of things (everything is huge over there!). We have UK influence as well - but in the mainstreams and popular culture realms the influence of the ‘states is paramount.

I wonder though ... does the world also understand that television and movies never show the majority of the country, where people are normal? :p

Don't forget how rude and self centered New Yorkers are, no wait, the Yanks are the nicest of the US citizens right? I'm confused but one thing is for certain 420 members are the best!

Ya it is something else isn’t it?!? Legalese is something else! Lol technically they didn’t lie.... but they didn’t tell the whole truth with their intentions.... especially in their face to face interactions with members of the community, which is breach of verbal contract....

I’m just amazed... and sad... at how quickly people are gonna turn cannabis legalization into a bad thing... cause they have apparently partnered with a Canadian company SugarBud LOOK HERE
Which sadly on behalf of Canadians I have to apologize because they were formerly an oil and gas company, until April 2,2019 - SEE HERE

Big money is grabbing its footholds.

Who names an oil and gas company Sugarbud?

Lmao I laughed too... I haven’t dug deep enough to see if they changed names.... but most likely he’s a pothead froM Alberta and with the gas/oil industry in the toilets, decided to change their focus to the emerging cannabis market.

When it's legal here, I'll have so much great genetics I won't care what the big Co. Do
Lol
I think it's going to be hard to get a corner on the market no matter how big your company is. There will always be a segment of the market who wants non-corporate weed. Like craft beer vs InBev.

I know! I thought it was funny that they didn't mention the old name (if there was one) in the press release.

Agree

Why I'll just hold on to my seeds

Rudest folks I ever met were in Bismark, North Dakota, and I've been to 49 of the 50 states. Just saying.
Right?!!! What a weird place. Everyone gives you the side eye.

Thanks for the social “heads-up” tour folks! I’ll be well informed if i ever get there :thumb:

It’s funny there’s an episode of The West Wing that features North Dakota being grumpy about excactly that. It portrays a scenario where N. Dakota as a state - so, it’s representatives - is lobbying to have the word ‘North’ dropped from it’s name - arguing that it puts tourists off and is the reason their tourist income is lower that South Dakota... (completely ignoring, you know, Mt Rushmore ;)) it’s quite amusing :laughtwo: but then, I can be easily amused by such things. Has anything like that ever actually happened, does anyone know?

Yes, that's "true". It was discussed in the State legislature for a period of time. :laughtwo: It also would have given the advantage of being Dakota and South Dakota, like Virginia and West Virginia, one seeming subliminally greater than the other. ;)

Of course, it didn't get past committee. I'd like to be a State legislator - they get to do such fun things, sometimes. And they can only get fired once every few years! :yahoo:
