You remain ignorant of the pervasive impact of US culture on this young nation! I have seen 100times more American films than Australian ones and the same goes for TV shows. There would be very little culture shock at all if I came to visit you - except for maybe the scale of things (everything is huge over there!). We have UK influence as well - but in the mainstreams and popular culture realms the influence of the ‘states is paramount.
I wonder though ... does the world also understand that television and movies never show the majority of the country, where people are normal?

Rudest folks I ever met were in Bismark, North Dakota, and I've been to 49 of the 50 states. Just saying.
I've been to quite a few too and I think the worst drivers are there too, or was that further east of the midwest...

Ya it is something else isn’t it?!? Legalese is something else! Lol technically they didn’t lie.... but they didn’t tell the whole truth with their intentions.... especially in their face to face interactions with members of the community, which is breach of verbal contract....

Lmao I laughed too... I haven’t dug deep enough to see if they changed names.... but most likely he’s a pothead froM Alberta and with the gas/oil industry in the toilets, decided to change their focus to the emerging cannabis market.

I think it's going to be hard to get a corner on the market no matter how big your company is. There will always be a segment of the market who wants non-corporate weed. Like craft beer vs InBev.
I know! I thought it was funny that they didn't mention the old name (if there was one) in the press release.

And it's like they deliberately bump into you as you walk past. Maybe they're annoyed they didn't get the cool places like South Dakota! They're jealous of Mt Rushmore, the Badlands, Black Hills, Walls Drugs...

Worst places I have been so far in the US are Baltimore and DC side streets. Most of DC was ok but a couple areas I did an about face.

Dakota as a state - so, it’s representatives - is lobbying to have the word ‘North’ dropped from it’s name - arguing that it puts tourists off and is the reason their tourist income is lower that South Dakota... Yes, that's "true". It was discussed in the State legislature for a period of time. It also would have given the advantage of being Dakota and South Dakota, like Virginia and West Virginia, one seeming subliminally greater than the other.
Of course, it didn't get past committee. I'd like to be a State legislator - they get to do such fun things, sometimes. And they can only get fired once every few years!
