Crazy busy in the shop today poking holes in people. TGIMF.
Looks like you had a good productive day. And you even managed a nap. Lucky dog! I wish the MB didn't spin the blades so hard cuz it flings stuff everywhere. Doesn't it seem that a gentle mixing would do the job? Not sure the reasoning behind the whirling blades of death.
They tell you not to grind first, but in the end, grinding is needed to make sure every trichome gets into the oil. They do it in the oil so you don't end up with all the dry kief stuck to the walls of the grinder where you'll never get it (unless you're doing QWET and can rinse it). I needed a plastic spatula to get the mash all out of the bottom, but it only took about 5 minutes to get the whole thing clean so I was ok with the bits.
Contests are a no-go but poking holes in people is ok. Gotcha .
