Yup, my humidifiers go on and off with the lights, so I've never had to worry about that. Great point West!As I learned when the lights come on those leaves better be dry !
They say to look at your plant and take off 25% or 1/4 the plant from my readings . Looks alright from here bud .I'm learning on the fly with this lollipopping. I'm worried I'll not take enough and equally as worried I'll take too much. Here is a Chemdog plant that I up-potted 13 days ago. I let her rest for 5 days after up-potting her to let her put out some new roots and basically get accustomed to her new pot. I flipped her I'm thinking 8 days ago, and pulled her out yesterday to practice my Edwards Scissorhands skills. I know my pictures are not the best but can you tell if I either
A. took off too little
B. took off just the right amount
C. Butchered the thing and should have my scissors taken away from me.
Fact / experience based feedback and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
I started with this: Left front in the first picture.
And ended up with this:
A Vicks Vaporizer takes up very little room, and on a timer with 30 minutes on and 3 hours off it might be worth if for anyone interested in hitting the VPD target. It's not about creating a bio-dome where it isn't possible (like my grow), but if it is possible to find the blend of temps and RH, it should create happier plants and bigger buds.
I don't know as I haven't cloned that many different strains in there. Most had long stringy roots and eventually did fine in soil. I only lost one in that water-to-soil process. Wish I had a better answer, but there are others who have built bucket aero cloners like mine who may be able to provide more feedback.
Quite true and we had discussed that difference earlier, but Amy was asking about the two different types of water roots I've gotten.

Friday update on flip day 29...and I did not take the big three out of the shed last night - as a overnight temperature test. Outside it only got into the mid 50's last night and I had reset the thermometer in the morning so I knew I would get an accurate result, and this is what it said this morning:
Ignoring the high RH numbers, the soil level only got down to 60º over night, which seems better for their dark time than squeezing them into the tent. I'm hoping that as the buds start to form the weather will be shifting, creating new possibilities. I did add another fan to the oval this morning as well.
Speaking of buds forming, here is the Sour G:
With a bit of frost:
AK-47 with no signs of frost yet:
And Peyote Critical:
Everyone is still indoors
Except, of course, this bee:
I hope you all have great plans for this weekend! Carry on...
Well now you scared the crap outta me! I don't need a Homer in my tent
I'm not sure I would have done that all at once but I'm sure it will all turn out fine in the end. The plant will tell you if you did too much by how it responds.A. took off too little
B. took off just the right amount
C. Butchered the thing and should have my scissors taken away from me.
Glad to be able to help Smeegol.Girls are looking really good mr.Shed and thanks for the info on humidity for the plant cycles....
