Every time! I'm sure I'll be going back in there again and taking off any popcorn I see growing underneath. At some point during thinning your eyes glaze over. I try to keep changing angles to see what I miss, but I still miss some.

All the plants are in 10g pots, and I'd guess the Candidas are around 18" tall. They're getting pretty wide though, probably 30". I'll measure them tomorrow and see how far off I am :oops:.

Still catching up on your journal. I missed a lot this weekend. Naps will do that ;).

Thanks Crazy! I have to have the chain sharpened though. It's really just a butter knife now.

If you like 'em I like 'em! I keep thinking about the stretch and how to keep them small. I can't flip them until the others are done, sometime late April...two more months of growing :eek:.

Did somebody say paperclips? I substituted some bonsai wire I had laying around. Now she's been broke, busted, and bent! Now let's see how she picks herself up.

Had four sunny days in a row so that's definitely a change in weather :thumb:. Still, it's not spring yet and we're cloudy and rainy this week, so everyone will have to get used to being under the lights again. I'm really waiting for warmer nighttime temps so I can stop smooshing the big ones together in the 2x4. The pots themselves only fit if you jam them in so you can imagine how the branches feel!
 
The surface of the sun warms up sooner than the Great Lakes last time I checked...

Thanks BL! I seem to go through periods where things are going well and periods where they're not. This is a good stretch :).

And when I hit a not good stretch all y'all step in and course-correct me. It's one of the joys of being here.
