InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Quick Superbowl Sunday update before I head to the party  Let's go anyone but New England!

No real changes though Sour G is looking a little droopy after getting 25% diluted nutes today. Three pics this time because I wanted to get one of the secondary growth:

Also, I watered Gold Leaf with full strength nutes. AK is getting light so that might be the rest of the gallon tomorrow!

Hope the rest of the day is filled with nachos and wings or whatever you'll be having at your Sunday dinner :cheertwo:

Hey, great game last night. And you can't tell me that anyone watching that game didn't have a bit of difficulty remaining calm when Brady got the ball with about a minute left. I know that all I kept thinking was "Oh hell no, he's about to do it again"

Seriously, but unlike Atlanta, Philly kept the pressure on until the very last second. Poor Gronk, someone in green got their hand even higher than his!

Hey Moon, lots of Steelers jerseys at the party I went to yesterday. As a matter of fact only the hosts were in Pats gear :).

Happy Monday to all except any New England fans, poor kids ;). I'm just tossing up a couple of Sour G pics because it's so nice to see it thriving! I'm not sure it changes much day to day so y'all may be bored but it's for the record anyway...

I watered the AK today but it's still showing some small signs of K deficiency. The GH Armor Si (silica 0-0-4) should be here today or tomorrow so I'll be mixing it into the next batch of nutes. It's Si first, mix, then Cal/mag+ right? Any idea what amount I should start with?

The sun is getting higher in the sky every day so the SAD days are on the wane! Keep calm and carry on :).

i think your little one just looked hot, cause she really is loving life today. Funny how they can change from one day to the other, it's keeping me on my toes.

you got some full spectrum sunlight for her, nothing better, ;)

we are starting to get sun now here, I can feel it outside now. have a great day member of the month...it's gonna last all month, bask in it, it's gotta feel good.

That's the way I do it shed. As far as how much, I go by what the container says and if I'm only at 1/4 nutes I do the same with my silica. But yes always silica first mix, then cal mag mix, nutes and bennies mix, and z7 mix. Works for me

Thanks Derby! The bottle has mild, full, and maximum-strength numbers from ¼ to 1 tsp/gallon. I'll do ¼ tsp to start and see what it does. I've read you can see a difference in a matter of days.

The baby will get 1/8 tsp to start. Going to have to play mathematician to get that dilution sorted unless I mix up a separate gallon for it!

I don't think I've ever gone over half and man it makes a big difference quick. I use it till about 5 weeks into flower on a 8 week strain

In stem thickness or elsewhere on the plant? I'm thinking of going foliar as well.
I've always just fed with nutes to get stronger stems but have heard to foliar spray as well to keep bugs away. Stems go from wimpy green to brownish grey. Last grow I had one plant that did away with her tiedown and the next morning the wife said that was the hardest looking thing in the basement as it straighten right up

Love the silica! I believe it makes a big difference for stem strength, and heat and pest resistance. If you think about it, it's like giving quartz armor to your plant. I use 1ml/l (~4 ml/gal) of D-G ProteKt with every watering, from pre-soaking the medium, to ~2 weeks before harvest.

As Member of the Month, you will get a lot of exposure, so even more growers will learn of the benefits of potassium silicate!

Thanks Felipe! I haven't seen much of an increase in traffic but if the silica improves my life you know I'll post it here!

Speaking of traffic, just driving by super slow and creepy with my parking lights on so I can scope out the garden. Sour G is looking solid as always bud! Hope your week is off to a good start
