Everything on my pump is screwed in and there were no nipples involved even though all the part that come with the pump have nipples. I prefer things that screw.

Nope that's not it either, both pipe thread.I just found the part
Brass Reducer, FNPT x MNPT, 1/2" x 3/8" Pipe Size, 1 EA
It has the machine thread male and pipe female. Must be a thing.
What size is the threaded outlet? 1/2" or 3/4"?Nope that's not it either, both pipe thread.
The outlet on the pump is asking for 3/8 male. It might be looking for fine pipe threads or machine threads. The nipple I bought will cross thread if I put pressure on it. I have a webb plumbing supply store close by, It;s like mecca for plumbing stuff. Tomorrow I'll go by and see what they have. What size is the threaded outlet? 1/2" or 3/4"?
3/4" fittings can have 2 thread pitches... one is the standard, the other is for hose-bib attachments.
If smaller, 1/2"-3/8", let me know. I can look up and order any strange fittings. Post a pic and I can get a better idea.
Yeah man.... I don't use alot of 3/8" stuff in residential, generally only play with that when installing RO systems. I can imagine there are a few different styles of fittings in the smaller stuff though, as it is used in so many differing applications. The outlet on the pump is asking for 3/8 male. Here's the pic. You see the slight taper on the nipple from the body to the end thread. Thinner at the end. The black fitting that came with the pump looks straight and has the o-ring to seat on the pump body for a seal.
I think so. And if they don't I'll screw the nipple in and it will be fine. I'm going to the pump manu. now. They might have something. Thanks friend.Yeah man.... That plumbing shop is gonna be your best bet. They will get you dialed in quick!

Thread so no pop offs ?Everything on my pump is screwed in and there were no nipples involved even though all the part that come with the pump have nipples. I prefer things that screw.
Brilliant! And the room to have one as well please .I think the fridge is outstanding in its curing, but it does take time. Should have a separate fridge for this with a padlock on it.
Nice find! I'd probably have to go with a hasp and a combination lock but I don't think my wife would buy in...I used to have an old beer fridge that I got from a bar that closed down. It had the most overkill lock on it lol. That would stop em!

Sunday update! Yesterday was Blue Treacle Auto 2 harvest, on day 100. Nice round number...
First off, I started this around 8:30am, and by 8:45 it was drizzling so I moved under the pine tree for shelter. As I cut the rain got heavier and heavier, and once I was done washing my shoulders were soaked, so I moved the rinse to the bathtub and hung them in the office to dry.
I'm getting ahead of myself. First I did an on-plant trim of most of the fans so I could see the structure of the LST and post a few pics in the LST thread.
More pics and deets will be up in the LST thread later if you're interested.
I took the long colas off and then the smaller stuff. Because of the training there was very little larf as most of it was the same distance to the light as everything else. What would have been lowers were huge colas.
Here is the mold, spreading fast:
Here is the plant after the chop:
Look @newty!
Needed a heavy duty pruner to get through the trunk:
No hole, for those following along:
I've got the framework drying in the shed in case I can make a pipe out of it per @BeezLuiz' tutorial. Not sure it's the right shape but once it dries I'll give it ago.
Washed with H2O2 and water, rinsed in the tub, and laid on the bathmat to dry:
I stung them up in the office with two big fans on them for the rest of the day. Then it was time to trim. Here is the trim bowl (into the freezer it went). 52 grams wet:
And here is the moldy bud I cut from other colas (into the freezer this went as wel...in a separate bag!). 20 grams wet:
Here is the longest cola...not too shabby for an auto grown in the winter (thanks Samsung!):
And here it is all hung in the box to dry:
As I mentioned last night, I left the box open with a fan on it until this morning when it seemed dry enough to close up and slow the process down a bit. The fan is still on but now it's aimed at the holes on the lower right. It vents to holes on the top left.
I've now got a bit of breathing room in the Oval of Brightness®, but I'm thinking I'll have to up-can the Candidas to 5g's for now rather than their 10g final homes. No room for four 10 gallon pots in there!
That was my Saturday. I'll go over today's activities tomorrow as it should be raining most of next week.
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Off to catch up on all you were up to...
