InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Good evening shed

Howdy Roost! Thanks for checking in :). Busy night last night so I couldn't be here, but here I am now...with New Year's greetings.

Let me begin by saying a huge :thanks: to everyone who has been here with me since I joined this site in May. With your knowledge and support you have made 2017 a year of learning and growing (in every sense!). I appreciate each and every one of you, not only those who have subbed up to my threads but everyone whom I've rubbed shoulders with all over this site over the last 7 months. And whether you pop in to say "hi" once in a while or are here all the time, you have made and are making a difference to me.

Just a quickie pic update on the clones today.

Gold Leaf has survived the transplant, but I'm wondering about the yellow on the new leaves. The water I used has a tiny bit of Grow Big in it, but next watering maybe more nitrogen???

And in case anyone was keeping track, here is what is happening in the clone box. Surprisingly, nothing dead...yet!

Everyone have a safe night, free from overbearing drunks and frostbite :):). See you next year! :Namaste:

Lol getting packed in there! Nice man, happy New Year's Shed! Wishing you lots of successful cuttings in 2018 . .

Thanks for always being such a good help round here!

Thanks Bign! Always glad to jump in with something ;). And I think I see a bucket cloner in my future...
I'm digging it man, 1" of root growth overnight last night! With a thermostat and heat mat, it's child's play lol do it!

It's Tuesday morning and very overcast here today, so I left the plants in the shed (only top shots and pardon the strangely colored pics, though no pink!). Nothing dead...good start to 2018 I'd say!

Clone box. One failing cutting which I clipped after this pic (left bowl, top puck, top cutting). I also replaced the water in the glass. I'm keeping the RH in the 70s and only putting a bit of water in the bowls for the pucks to suck up when they're drying out. I mist the leaves twice a day. So far so good but I expect failure so I can not be disappointed!

I put minecin a root riot knock off and put a couple of drops root tonic c from elite nutrients (free sample) I pour the mixture ph'd to 6.4 in bottom of plastic bottle and sit tray with clones in it so they can drink when necessary, spray mist inside of top cover, and replace cover. Kept near heater to about 70 ish temps. Humidity is what it is throughout the day. Theyre still green! This is fun right!!!

Hey whats going on Shed! Sorry took me so long to jump the fence n see where the cool kids are hanging out!! Hope u dont mind if i kick it for awhile. Promise m not that guy on the coach type a person. When i did my first clones i will say they looked like they were on deaths door and all pulled threw!! Way worst then ur babies look. I roots in ur future!! Lol!! Great work bud great thread!!

Hey Pino, thanks for joining the "fun"! When my clones wilt and the stems spin around in the peat pucks after two weeks, they're dead to me!

Here's the Thursday clone update. First the living:

Gold Leaf: not dead! What should I be adding to the next watering? Great White and...?

AK-47 is doing very well. I cut a few yellowing leaves off this morning and I think it's going to need another trim soon!

And finally the clone box. Right bowl looking a bit sad, and left bowl top is on its way out for sure. Funnily enough, the ones in the glass of water look great! I changed the water again this morning because I was seeing a little fuzz in there. Can I add a drop of H2O2 to the water? I know I can buy other stuff but I'm asking about H2O2 specifically! The water is over 72º so I need to keep the stems from rotting, on the cheap.

I hope you all have a great day!

You should try rock wool instead of the Pete pellets shed. See if it makes a difference

Friday and I just thought I'd let you know that I added 10 drops of H2O2 to the glass last night and the clones in there did not die. Good. The peat pucks are successfully killing another set of clones save one.

Gold leaf not dead. It must be producing roots because absolutely nothing is happening above ground.

When I water it next, what should I be adding? Great White and veg nutes? Did I read somewhere that bloom nutes were good for rooting clones?

Whatcha think?

I am not familiar with Great White but with my clones, I treated them like early veg once they established roots. I use the GH trio and started with 1/4 what's recommended. Until then I just sprayed with clonex.
Maybe it's beginner's luck but I haven't really had much trouble with the clones .. I was recently wishing I had a market to sell a few .
