geotagging in yer smartphone can prove ye werent on the place on the time of the infraction ... maybe ?
Shed,
Do you know the individual whom is accusing?
I would also ask my attorney if he is ok taking both criminal and civil cases against you to court to get a judgement against this individual for at a minimum, his fees.
This is how you stop an individual like this from doing it to another person.
Been there, done it, and doing it now with the neighbor.
When I had done it, I spent 72 hours in the poo poo doing hard time about 15 years ago. Seems I got shitfaced as all hell, and plowed my truck into a minivan of blind kids. Once again, hours away alibi (on base) did not cut it, nor did the fact that I transferred title in a sale nearly 8 months earlier. It did not really end well for that attorney or his mini van client. I also got to ask the judge who signed my warrant if he regularly ignores facts and locks up people so you can get good xmas gifts from his lawyer buddies. What a douche.

Didn't hear any news yesterday but I remain hopeful. I await further updates and will keep you all posted. Thanks Van.Glad u found a lawyer Shed. Hopefully the situation will clear up quickly for you!!
Nice to see you back here Felipe! Thanks for the visit. Interesting information about the fans/sugar leaves. I thought that the fan leaves were not so much about storing nutrients but more to provide photosynthesis (solar power) to keep the plant alive, allowing it to take available nutrients from the soil and distribute them where needed for growth and flowering.I would definitely defoliate to address your humidity/mold issues.
Amy, I’m gonna respectfully disagree. As I understand it, nutrients get stored in the fan leaves in case of future needs. This is a useful strategy in the wild, where the plant is growing in marginal soil, not a rich, high-brix blend, or when nutrients are not supplied during the grow. But most of us are providing luxury levels of nutrients throughout the grow. Thus, the fan leaves become superfluous.
In addition, I understand that the “sugar” leaves, immediately adjacent to the flowers, are the primary source of energy for flowering. This is why it is always advised to make sure to expose the buds to light. It isn’t the flowers themselves that need the light.
Hopefully it won't come to that but I suppose we might be able to prove my daughter was laying around on the couch if we get the records from T-Mobile.geotagging in yer smartphone can prove ye werent on the place on the time of the infraction ... maybe ?

True dat. That is another good one, although I could see them trying to say "how do we know someone else didn't have her phone?"
Sorry to hear about your travails nobody . I don't know who the accuser is but when it's over I will check with the lawyer and see what he thinks about suing to recover legal fees. Good idea!Shed,

Thanks Joe, I know you're always in my corner!Hey shed hope all is going good buddy. Thinking of you .
Thanks Penny! Hope you have a couple of days off as well .Enjoy the downtime Shed.
LOL! Thanks newty . I can't believe there are any more than a baby's fistfull of roots so down-potting should be easy. If the next plant is full-sized then I will need the room under the Mars Hydro. What! Your the #spogking
Do you have the space? Keep it! Down size if it’s easy, if not then don’t stress it too much
Hope the next bean is that beans giant sister!!
Ffs! I thot you were joking!Should I down-pot it to a gallon?
LOL! Not joking. After pulling the root "ball" on the BSA spog® I know there's not much going on under the soil. No need to take up 5 gallons of room under the light.Ffs! I thot you were joking!
Friday!
Got a bit of a headache but with the pills and the topical oil I'm fighting it off . It came on really quick while driving to work and that was over 3 hours ago. I completely forgot that I had the bottle of oil on my desk!
Just pics of the small ones today. I took a moldy top off the AK and stuck it in the bag with the Sour G buds (took off another small branch today). Come on plants...hurry up!
Here is the Amphetamine Auto on day 27!
Here is a closeup of the top...see the pistils? Trash it at 3" or tiny spog® it? Should I down-pot it to a gallon?
And here is the Blue Treacle freacle. At least it's green and growing (oddly). No idea how many days this is:
This weekend I will work on the AK-47 and take pics for you. Also dropping another Blue Treacle seed to see if I can get a normal plant to grow!
I hope you all have great weekends planned. We're having a barbecue tonight for a bunch of friends and my wife's brother and sister-in-law who are staying with us through tomorrow. Just steaks, not 12-hour ribs!
Totally bookmarked!hey there Shed...
GL with the lawyer. I hate them bastards. Just as bad as a politician. Lie the same too. When ya need tho ya gotta pay. Don't keep em around. They're like a milk man.
On the defoil. Yes fan leaves store energy for when the plant eventually needs more energy. They take in energy from photosynthesis, use the vascular system to spread out that energy thru out the plant.
Fan leaves like the plant have a life cycle and lots of times but not always, its different than the plants cycle. So the fan leaves take it energy from the sun, then pass it around the plant. As the fan leaves get older they become and energy SINK. There's a sort of valve in the petiole (stem) where the plants let the energy flow both ways. As the fan leaf ages, that valve eventually only lets energy from FROM the leaf back into the plant. That's when you see the fan leaves turn yellow and some call it fade. he plant uses that energy sink to make flowers for reproduction.
Now some strains like a equatorial sativa that can grow say 120+ days in flower, will grow a new set of fan leaves and repeat the process.
I as a general rule, do not cut off fans unless I'm cleaning up down low on the plant. I usually only do that when I up-pot to my flower pot right before they go into 12/12. Once they are in flower, I do not cut leaves off.
There's a thing plants do called translocation. It's how nutrients are moved from one part of the plant to the other and why it's not necessary for all flowers to get direct sun or even all leaves. Ever wonder how some of the low down buds are just and strong as the tops? That's translocation at work. With translocation the plant can move nutrients into fan leaves and store them there for future use.
Growers that use nutrients get away with cutting off those energy sinks because they are bypassing the natural process of how the plants gather and retain nutrients for growth.
I like the natural way for one reason, I don't have to do any work and results are good. You can probably count the times I touch plants in flower with one hand. It's very rare.
Ask and ye shall receive!I wouldn't down pot at this point. it will just introduce more stress. But those steaks though, seared nice on the grill to medium with a knob of Kerry Gold butter with lemon thyme. My God. Please take a few pictures if you can Shed. I love a good steak.

You and me both kiddo!Totally bookmarked!
Great info! I always like to know "why"...
Happy Saturday everyone! Sky's blue here and it's a lovely day to be cleaning up after the barbecue last night .
Ask and ye shall receive!
Three big slabs of tri-tip! Delish if I do say so myself.
First...welcome to my thread Bob! I don't think I've seen you 'round these parts before so I'm glad you stopped by to deliver that great description of what the leaves are up to during the life of the plant. Excellent explanation and, like Preston below, I'm saving that for future reference.
My only reasoning for taking leaves this late is to attempt to create some better airflow to try to hold the botrytis at bay while I get this to harvest.
You and me both kiddo!
And speaking of harvest, since I haven't had a chance to play with the AK yet, I thought I'd post some bud porn. Sour G looks like I may get some smokeable bud before it all goes to fusarium. I'm seeing some amber on the sugars and some cloudy on the calyxes. Take a look:
The parentage on this strain is all over the map (GG x Sour D x THC Bomb) so I'll take it down when it's a blend of cloudy and amber.
The AK is more clear than cloudy and I'm not seeing much in the way of amber. I'm thinking of taking this one before I see too much amber to try to get more of a sativa feel off it.
Oh, speaking of the barbecue, look what was served for dessert!
Tasty and sweet like a Maui Gold should be. Didn't get full sized like the past ones but it flowered in a 5 gallon pot.
Carry on with your weekend all!
