Well done! And it's okay if the other doesn't appear since I'm only keeping one. That said, I can wait a while for the competition between them to start.Rooting for yours!
Holding thumbs for you Carmen!Excellent news. Happy growing! I lost another seed in the process of germination. I've got a last effort germinating atm. Hold thumbs please! I have my annual grow pause coming up so time is of the essence. I can't wait to see what you do with these autos.
LOL!Pay no attention to the plant behind the curtain!
Thanks Keith, but I was barely involved.Nicely done
I'm glad it wasn't a long wait to see sprouts, and when I dug around a bit to see what was going on with the other Wizard I didn't see anything happening. I'll give it a least another day before I investigate further. All that rooting paided off Off and growing good to see
2 in the dirt sweet, & your indoor winter grow is now a goWednesday update, where The Wizard and the Pellezino Cookies get planted.
Off comes the rest of the cover on the peat puck:
And into solo cups with FFHF and dynomyco they go, then watered around the outer edge until I see the soil is wet all the way to the bottom. Here they are for a day in the sun:
This afternoon they'll go inside, and tonight I'll get them set up in the tent.
For those interested, the Pellezino Cookies is a photoperiod feminized variety from @Original Sensible Seeds, and this is how they describe it:
"Pellezino Cookies is an Indica / Sativa balanced hybrid powerhouse which combines the genetics of Zkittlez Tangie Power, Zkittlez Kosher Tangie & Do-Si-Dos.
"The resulting hybrid gives a well balanced, cerebrally stimulating, whilst physically relaxing effect with its dominant terpene Limonene, a citrus scented terpene commonly believed to provide anxiety and stress relief. Other terpenes include Caryophyllene (pepper) & Linalool (floral). These 3 terpenes combine with others to give a complex sweet, fruity, acid, orange & grapefruit and earthy flavour.
"Pellezino Cookies is a high THC strain with levels being as high as 33%, and finishes around 65 days flowering."

Not too shabby, thanks Scottay. And a happy Thursday to you.Happy Wednesday Shedster!!! Hope your week is going well brother!!
I'm so used to not having plants that I've been late for work the last two days with the plant things in the morning! And my goal is that The Wizard auto will finish before the Pellezino Cookies gets too big in veg. After TWa is harvested I'll flip the PC and hope for the best!So a photo and a auto this should be interesting , those P-cookies sound amazing taste and thc wise . I know it feels good to get a grow started .
whats that wire in that pellet? Here ya go, 1 of 2 up on The Wizards, and I'm calling it day 1 for the Pellezino Cookies as well:
Tomorrow morning I'll get them in soil in solo cups.

That's the temperature sensor from the multi-meter. I do my best to keep it close to 80º in the actual peat.whats that wire in that pellet?
A seedling mat in there will raise the temp a few more degrees- don't sit the plants on it, just stand it on it's side and use it for heat...when you stand it on it's side, you get the heat from both sides of the mat, not just the topside...it doesn't work wonders, but it does do a little..I have them around 20,000 lux and the light is at 100w to see if that will generate enough heat to keep it warm in there. At 40w it was in the mid 60s last night. Too chilly for babies.
Thanks Carcass! If I don't put it underneath wouldn't I be warming one side of the cup and leaving the other side at the air temp?A seedling mat in there will raise the temp a few more degrees- don't sit the plants on it, just stand it on it's side and use it for heat...when you stand it on it's side, you get the heat from both sides of the mat, not just the topside...it doesn't work wonders, but it does do a little.
The idea is to just warm the air with that mat, so you would need two if there's also one under the seedlings-If I don't put it underneath wouldn't I be warming one side of the cup and leaving the other side at the air temp?
I had to read back to see what I missed, and I can't find it! If you have a heat mat, why can't you use it under? Add a towel to soften the heat it needed?Nothing's changed today but I did go digging for the other Wizard seed, and this is what I found:
Which leads me to believe that this was the unsplit one and the one that sprouted was the split one. And here I was so sure I labeled them correctly. Oh well.
They're staying in the tent from now on rather than spending 6 hours in the sun every day so no one has to move them every afternoon. I have them around 20,000 lux and the light is at 100w to see if that will generate enough heat to keep it warm in there. At 40w it was in the mid 60s last night. Too chilly for babies.
