InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

That couldn’t have turned out any better!
Thanks Caddie! Waiting to hear from you. :)
Mmmmmm......root porn.
Gets everyone's motor going!
Sounds like seed searching is worse than trim jail
Much worse. Trimming that plant (even if it had leaves left) would have been 20 minutes!
And then some!
These look spectaculare!
Wow! Those seeds are just gorgious! People like you @InTheShed simply amaze me.
Thanks BudMan! The process of seed making isn't really complicated, just a bit time consuming. Though anyone who has the time and focus to grow plants can handle making seeds.
Nice seed mining those nuggets. Someone said you earned every seed. I concur!! Happy Thursday Shed!!
Thank you Scottay! I'm really glad to have gotten enough to feel like it was worth it.

Brother Shed! I hope you're doing well. :high-five:

Just a quick check-in. I see you're still trying to figure out the maximum number of pages you can get a grow journal to. I'm thinking you might be getting close!

Thanks much Mr K! I was just thinking about you because I answered a question in your great STS thread and thought "Here's a guy we miss on the site."

I hope all is well with you and that you'll soon be back here on the regular!

Great job on the seeds,darlin'.

Hey...wondering if you saw that @SeedsMan is selling clones now? I found it interesting.

I'm ready for my next grow. I kinda disappeared during my last one but it couldn't be helped. Lots of migraines lately. Can barely function when they stick around for a week or so.

I also lost all of my phone pics.
I didn't have the backup or cloud option on and my old phone bricked up. That left me without a phone for about a month.
I was frustrated and defeated for a bit but I finally got a new one.

Should be back on track soon...

Much love from Minnesota 💕

Happy Monday everyone, and here is today's update on the Purple Ghost Candy from Seedsman!

It was looking a bit droopy last week, which previously meant it needed transplanting, so I did exactly that on Friday (day 39). Here it was before the deed:

Tons of happy white roots, which I tore up before replanting it in new Happy Frog soil:

I didn't want to get up and grab a knife to neatly score it in case you're wondering. :)

And here it is after the move:

And the following day:

Still not happy but no worse for wear. It's actually got a few large fans tucked down to get the lowers some better sunlight, but I figure it might take a week to really recover from the root ripping, and by that time it will be ready for topping. Stay tuned for that!

Thanks for reading, and look out below...

And here is the update on other stuff, like the upcan of the CapJunky on Friday, day 36.

It also was feeling droopy, though less so than the PGC:

Also nice roots I tore up:

And the results:

And the next day with some tucked leaves:

I'm hoping that they'll both be happier by the weekend!

Finally, I pH tested the brand new bag of FFHF when I got it home Friday afternoon, and this is the result:

5.4...crazy, right? A full point below where it should be. Granted, the lime they probably add hadn't been activated yet by watering but that was too low for my comfort, so I added 2 Tbsp of dolomite lime/gallon to both plants on upcan. I'll run another test this weekend from the new (very heavy) pots. I forget what these things weigh when wet. 💪

Hope all is well with you, and that you're getting sun earlier than 2pm. We go from May Gray to June Gloom here, which looks exactly the same but for the name change.

☀️

Great job on the seeds,darlin'.

Fat oof. :( I miss you're smiling face around here, and your furrowed one as well.

Damn, gotta keep those things backed up! I'm sure the new one will take stunning pics of gorgeous plants. :thumb:

A bag of soil for each pot, Shed?
Not sure I follow the question. :hmmmm:

In case anyone needs this info, a 2cf bag of FFHF doesn't quite fill two 7 gallon cloth pots (on transplant from a 1 gallon pot), so I needed about two gallons from the second bag. If you're filling the whole thing with new soil it would need more of the second bag.
She's about to go to the moon now Shed! Nice work!
I sure hope so Otter! From what I've seen both the PCG and the CJ are some serious stretchers (indoors) so I'd like them to get sorted for the topping and training to get underway.
Way to make it (soil PH) right!!
I can't believe how low it was out of the bag. I really wonder what the next test will show.
Good to see your getting some plant time , looking much better !
Thanks sb, the biceps are looking better too!
if u did score what would it have been? good job
:thanks: Mark! When I score roots I use a really sharp knife or a razor blade and run down the sides every 1.5-2" or so around the outside, and cut about 1/4" deep. Then I do a checkerboard across the bottom.

I'm hoping that they'll both be happier by the weekend!
It'll be like it never happened..(the root ripping:oops:)
I hope some of this sunshine heads your way by then!
and stays awhile...🌞

I should probably just keep a blade handy when I transplant! 🤷‍♂️

Driving to work this morning I heard a DJ say "I guess the sun doesn't like LA" and I wondered if she just moved here! :cheesygrinsmiley:

I figure sometime in early July we'll get sun before 2:00, but that will be just in time for flower. :thumb:
Ohh it’s “Marine Layer” season as you folk down in LA like to call it? We always called in fog up in the Bay hahahahaha

I worked in Santa Monica and Hollywood for a while and thought it was hilarious when people would groan about the marine layer.
