InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Hey Schnookie! I had to check the calendar to see it was December already. :)

I think the site reset some of folks' notification preferences but I'm glad it brought you back here to visit and update us. Sorry about the lack of growing but sticking to the straight and narrow path is a good bet when you might be under the microscope.

And full-time in a motorhome? Sounds like it could be amazing! I lived in a minivan for 6 months (16,000 miles and all contiguous 48 states) back in 1988. The world has changed a bit since then but there are still loads of good folks you can find on your travels. Keep us posted!

:goodluck:

Variable schedules suck!
Yeah they do surprising I’m not as tired as I thought I was going to be I think my body is getting used to it now. Now if I could just remember where she hid the cookie jar I mean swear jar no cookies here nope

Heyo all! I've been incommunicado somewhat the past 8 or 9 months it seems. I just started getting emails today with updates from threads I've subscribed to a while ago. Wonder if something changed. Anyhoo...I miss growing. Since that near run in with the po-po and possible eviction I had to go straight for a bit. I've been super careful with it the past year now and have had no thoughts of growing since then so I can have peace of mind. I'll be hitting the road full time in my motorhome next February which I'll be buying soon. Growing ain't likely in that, but maybe I can be Johnny Potseed...
If you drive on 95 through MA @ me up and I'll set you up Schnookie!

MA might be on the schedule. I've got mom and dad there and my sister and her family so would be nice to get together again (I've seen them all in the last year too, so things are cool anyway).
My hope is to eventually find the place I wanna build a house. I'm starting in the south (leaving from) and heading west. Grew up on the east coast and now after 50+ years it's time to see more of the rest of the country. I've been to like 30 states but mostly through work, so re-visiting lots of places that didn't get much attention while I was there.
Ideally looking for the most grow-friendly location...

Tuesday update!

Sorry to keep posting pics of the Summer Grow pair but that's all I have other than the Candida mother and offspring.

So I thought I'd let you see how the plants look (both on flip day 28) after the H2O2 and the SNS 209, starting with the Trainwreck:

Lowers (I haven't removed anything but a few have fallen off):

It doesn't seem to be spreading like it was, so that's good!

There is still some yellow in the middle:

And the tips of some of the tops:

Here is the Purple Urkle, which is about the same as the TW:

I'll be bumping them up to 5.5g/gallon since they're about halfway into flower. I also never had a chance to do a post-stretch thin so that will happen this weekend.

The only other thing I have for you is this pic of the roots on the new Candida mother plant. It was a perlite clone that got planted 9 days ago:

You know how folks always say to bury the stem and it will grow new roots further up? Well this will be a good test of that. On all my perlite clones the roots come from the very bottom, and you can see in the pic above that the roots start about halfway down. So let's see if I get new roots starting above that rather than just growing up into the space...if I can tell them apart!

I hope you're all well, and thanks for the visit. :)

I hope you can find somewhere you want to live with both cheap land and legal cultivation/use Schnookie! Happily the area at the center of that Venn diagram is getting bigger all the time. :thumb:

You keep posting them, we'll keep looking at them...after all, they are kinda pretty..

Colorado or Michigan would be my top choices for cost and regulations.

That Trainwreck looks amazing!!! I have a cut I've been keeping for like 6 or 7 years now and absolutely love it! Very healthy plants !!!

Looking good shed! Too lazy to scroll back pages. Are these auto's or photos?
Thanks scott! They're photos, which is all I grow now. I found that autos don't like my variable outside environment.
You keep posting them, we'll keep looking at them...after all, they are kinda pretty..
Why thank you kindly Mr Carcass. 😊
Nice fat colas coming in, how much longer do you think they have?
Thanks double H! @Weed Seeds Express has the Trainwreck at 56 - 63 days and the Purple Urkle seems to be 55 - 60 days. I'm figuring on the higher end so about 5 weeks to go.
Colorado or Michigan would be my top choices for cost and regulations.
Thanks CaptainLucky, and :welcome: to my perpetual journal! It's nice to have you stop by and help @Schnookie out.

I'm trying not to keep mothers except for my Candida, but I do have a few more TW seeds if this one is a big hit. Sounds like it is for you to be that committed to keeping it around so long! Thanks Icemud. :)
Hi shed , glad to hear you returned in good health , plants are staler !
Thank you sb! Arrived home safe and sound and starving because I wanted to get home so badly that we didn't stop to eat.
Check into Missouri. Our cultivation laws are some of the most relaxed in the nation. With just one cultivation license I can legally have 6 plants in seedling/clone stage, 6 plants in advanced veg, and 6 plants in bloom for a total of 18 plants. We operate under 2 cultivation licenses, so double all of those numbers.
Thank you Ms Green! That's a lot better than the California rules which hold me to 6 plants total. I'll bet land prices are more reasonable up by you as well. :thumb:
Colorado residents can grow 3 flowering plants and up to 6 at one time with no need for silly licenses lol
That's similar to ours here, and :welcome: to you too! Nice to have folks stopping by to help another member out.

Very generous of you NTH! I haven't made it that far south in Texas but I know there are some beautiful areas across that state. Hueco Tanks was pretty cool! 🕳️ I'll bet @West Hippie's watermelon farm is lovely as well.
