This morning I put the StankClips® on the top of the Durban Poison (day 32). It's two short pieces of pipe cleaner ("french ticklers" at @MrSauga's house) that you use to tie the nodes to the fan leaves just below them:

As the branches grow you just slide the clips out, and eventually the branches are long enough to tie down to the pot. In the meantime I just tug the fan leaves down and it takes the nodes with them.

I noticed that you used lemon essential oil in one of your earlier batches of salve. I was curious how that worked out as I am thinking of using a vanilla scent in mine. Do you still do it and have you found the essential oil holds the scent for a period of time in the container (and on the skin)?:thanks:

I don't even remember that, so I certainly can't tell you how it turned out. The salve doesn't smell from cannabis when it's done, more like beeswax and coconut oil, and some folks have allergic reactions to essential oils on the skin. So I go without them.

Did you know that the monster's name wasn't Frankenstein? Victor Frankenstein was the name of the scientist that created the monster.

I just found this out recently from my sister who teaches this novel. :battingeyelashes:
