InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Damn. Oh well, I hope she's okay with skimping a bit on one of her two gifts within two weeks!

My wife's birthday is Christmas Eve. It's also the date of our engagement. I got off buying an engagement ring and that satisfied our engagement, her birthday, and Christmas, all in one. I was gonna have to buy the ring anyway but I got out of buying two other presents. I can be a real tight ass at times.. We've been married 21 years.

Of course, I'm late for everything...... Hope the Shed man and his many many friends here in 420 had a Blessed Christmas and that you all have a happy new year! Look'n good as always in there, InTheShed.

As I always say its never too late for anything but I'm Crazy so don't listen to me.... ;)

Hope you had a great medicated Christmas and will have a happy new year.

Shed is the backbone in this community and without him we would probably be scattered all over.

My wife's is on the 6th. Close enough to be inconvenient, but not close enough to be able to "cheat" and spread it across Christmas and her birthday a bit more.
My Birthday is on the 15th almost too close to Christmas... Almost too close for birthday and Christmas presents together...

Farside05 I am glad and proud of you for having been married 21 years, wife and I have been married 37 years. Funny thing was wife's brother and his wife thought we needed marriage counseling. 37 years later he has been married and divorced 4 times maybe 5. I quit keeping track. :)

Really honored to have you growing the PSM × GK shedster! I know you'll do it justice. Wishing you and the family a great 2020

You're never late in this thread :). Thanks oops! I hope you're having a great holiday season. :thumb:

Congrats on the 21 years farside! The fact that you're still married after 21 years means your wife likes a tight ass ;).

Har! I'm just like a lot of other people here with a bit more Terpinator than some.

Well done Catfish! I hope to make 37 years. We'll see how it goes with both kids in college next year o_O .
I'm almost lost
But not quite!

Thanks Them! I appreciate the seeds and hope I can make you proud. Have a wonderful new year :).
Amen. Don't wanna toot his horn too loud. But he was there when I needed help and he offered it up freely. Good man, and I pray for him and his family often.
Thanks! I'm always glad to help where I can. And sometimes where I can't.

-----------------------------------------

It's Sunday but the sun isn't out and it's not really warm enough for the transplanting I need to do. But the 2-in-1-cup clones need to be split, so I'll wait for the day's peak temps (60º) to do that.

In the meantime, I thought I'd show you some seeds I got yesterday. The guy I give my extra clones to (he used to be a member here and lives local) asked for another IIP clone if I had a spare. That strain has become his new favorite, replacing GG#4 as his number one. So I met him yesterday to give him the single IIP clone, and he gave me these seeds:

Last winter, his dad had brought back some seeds from a trip to Africa. They were unlabeled and all he knew was they were an African sativa. He planted one outside in late spring that turned out to be a male, and before he chopped it, it had already pollinated the AK-47 clone I had given him (last of the line).

I have some of the African seeds as well, but I thought since these will probably flower faster, I'll grow these in the spring or summer. He thought of naming them something like Afrighan to show the African and Afgani parentage, but I thought the 47 would make it more easily recognizable, so I'm calling it AF-47.

Since my Red Dragon didn't sprout and was replaced by the Purple Skunk Krush that was supposed to be later in the year, I have to re-jigger the strains anyway, and this will fit in there somewhere.

Happy Sunday!

Hah! I think I misquoted something here. One of these days I will figure out this forum thing.
Thanks CraZys.

I'm not surprised at all... Strain Hunters material? :)

Watched the hole series this flue week, the best is the Indian trip with the other beard Franco and his charras making theories.
I watched all the Strain hunters too. I really enjoyed them. I like the one in India too. When I harvest I plan to try making some charras from my hands and the shares. Then add it to my bowl

Lol! I think you do better with a resin press if you are out for that sticky stuff. Would def be an experience to stroll through those fields and rub those 4-5m tall sativas. Hope they make some more strain hunting in the future, this is a classic series for me watch it once a year. Arjan Roskam is smart businessman....

Drive-by.. Hope you are having a Great Holiday Season'''

How about a little Monday update? Let's start with the final weight on the DDA, which came in at 30 grams:

This is just one of the reasons I don't enter NOTM:

Speaking of OTM...GO VOTE IN THE CONTESTS y'all!

It got warm enough yesterday to split all the clones that were doubled up in solo cups. By way of example, here are the It's It Punch clones with a pretty thick rootball:

It takes time and patience to get them apart without damaging the roots, but it can be done. Dry soil helps a lot, as well as rolling, squeezing, tapping, bouncing, shaking, and cajoling:

Here they all are in separate cups. When the cups are full of roots again is when they get transplanted. And even at this stage they will be getting 4.5g/gallon MC because I'm seeing some deficiencies on them.

Though given the great state of the recovered mothers (they look like I should flip them!), I'm not sure I need these, with the exception of the Candida. I'll be throwing out that mother because of the extensive damage to the lower branches. It's tough to keep a plant small when the only healthy growth starts 12" off the soil.

That's what I've got this morning. I hope 2019 is winding down well and you all are looking forward to putting the wrong year on your checks for a while...if anyone besides me still writes checks that is.
