InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Got this from SweetSue in a PM...here goes:

"I count the mother as simply 1. The first clone is 1.1, the next 1.2 and so on.

When I clone from one of them it becomes 1.1.1 or 1.2.1, etc. Following it back the last one I listed - 1.2.1 - was the first clone taken from the second clone taken from the first mother.

The next genetic line would have read 2.2.1, denoting the first clone from the second clone of the second mother. I find this very easy to follow and it can track as many lines as needed without confusion.

Seed plant = 1.0
Clone from that = 1.1
Clone from that (the first AK) = 1.1.1
Clone from that (the mother) = 1.1.1.1
Clones taken from that mother = 1.1.1.1.1, 1.1.1.1.2, 1.1.1.1.3, etc

At this point you're five generations in, counting the seed plant, and that's reflected in the numbering.

Say you took two clones from the seed plant and did the same with each generation, two clones from each. You'd have
Seed plant = 1.0
Clones from her = 1.1 & 1.2
Clones from them = 1.1.1, 1.1.2, & 1.2.1, 1.2.2
Next generation = 1.1.1.1, 1.1.1.2, 1.1.2.1, 1.1.2.2, & 1.2.1.1, 1.2.1.2, 1.2.2.1, 1.2.2.2
Final generation = 1.1.1.1.1, 1.1.1.1.2, 1.1.1.2.1, 1.1.1.2.2, 1.1.2.1.1, 1.1.2.1.2, I think that's far enough to take this illustration.

You see where this is going? I only do one cutting per plant, so the numbers don't get that confusing."

I've lost track on the AK's, but the others are all accurate. My BC clone from AW is 2.2 (second clone from second seed plant), and any cuttings from that plant are 2.2.x.
Saved! Thank you! :thanks:

Thanks SB! It's really only work when the 10 gallon pots are wet. Otherwise it's mostly just walking around ;).

Friday update! A bit hazy but everyone is outside for the day. I did some 4 gram watering and sprayed some neem oil on the smaller vegging plants, but today's pics are of the next three due for flippage. Starting with...

Bedroom Cookies 2.2 from @Archiweedies. This one hasn't been my friend for a long time, probably since the first transplant out of the solo cup. I let it get completely dry before I watered it yesterday and it actually looks better in this pic than it has for weeks. Hard to believe this is improvement:

Next up is the AK-47, which will be going into 7g final home this weekend. No need for 10 gallon since it won't be vegging long enough to make it worth the weight:

And here is the Berry Bomb clone from @Agemon. I topped it and pruned the bottom last weekend and I've been training it out since then. Now I'm just going to keep the uppers flat while the lowers catch up in height:

Last pic is from in the shed...a peek into the Oval of Brightness®, which is way too crowded. Most of the Bedroom Cookies clones and the 3g Peyote Critical top are leaving this weekend, but other plants will be getting bigger pots, so floorspace will still be really tight.

Here is the list of things that need up-pot:
IIP: solo to 1g
AK-47 Vulx and non-Vulx: 1g to 5g
AK-47 to be flipped: 5g to 7g

It might be time for some plants to start living outside 24 hours/day in spite of the mid-50s nighttime lows. Which ones? I have no idea yet :).

One last thing...I checked the Candidas with a loupe this morning and saw some amber on the sugar leaves. :hmmmm: I was expecting those to go another month, so the veggers are nowhere near ready to flip. Messes up my schedule.

That's it for me! I hope your week was way better than mine, and that your weekend will be a relaxing and re-energizing one for you and all whom you love.
:peace:
Looks epic shed. Plants look so happy. Cool vibes yo

I'm surprised you even saw that!
Good morning Shedster and crew :circle-of-love:

Good Morning Archie. Happy Saturday!
Morning ottter :ciao:
Shed how tempted am I buddy
A couple of autos scattered among the tomato cages...who's gonna know! Put cages on them as well and we can all wonder why there aren't tomatoes on a few of the plants ;).

Hey all...it's @Preston9mm and @Derbybud's birthdays today! Go wish them a :happy-birthday:

Saturday update! Okay, so it's Sunday really but still, this happened on Saturday :).

I handed off 7 of my 9 Bedroom Cookie clones and my Peyote Critical top this morning to an inactive member who lives nearby. That freed up a bit of space to make room for some transplanting.

The vegging AK-47 really needed water yesterday but since I was up-canning it today it looked like this:

Here it is in its final 7 gallon home:

I gave it a gallon of 5gram water and by the time it went in the shed it was starting to perk up. Speaking of perk up, it was time to move the It's It Punch clone from @MrGreene out of its solo cup and into a 1g pot:

And since this plant seems to like to grow out of control, I then did this:

I hope I can keep it to a reasonable size!

And last, the Candidas are completely falling over!

Some serious gangsta lean going on. I'll put up trichome pics tomorrow and solicit opinions, so watch for that :).

I got a late nap today which is why I'm up at 1:30am. I hope your weekend is restful during normal resting hours. :surf:

Hey Shed, Your Candidas are looking good but falling over exactly like my Cannatonic did, lol. Which I think is actually a good sign. :thumb:

Looking good shed :yummy:
Thanks itibiti! That emoji it will forever remind me of @Agemon's rats hungering for his plants :)
Kick ass plants shed
Thanks rugged, and getting damn hard to carry!
Here is the organic slow release food amendments I was thinking about buying
I have absolutely no idea about soil amendments but I'm sure they're fabulous! Others here might have a better idea.:slide:

I knew they looked familiar!
Great update Shed... your plants are looking amazing:thumb:. Glad you were able to make some room by giving away some clones, I was able to give away most of mine on Friday.
Thanks MoN! And if you ever gave me an Appleberry clone I would absolutely make room :).

Sunday morning all trichome update! If you don't like trichome pics, you can skip this ;).

Candidas on flip day 45:

Loads of cloudy, some clear, not much amber. Today would have been a good day but since the best time to harvest is at light's on, it's going to have to wait until next weekend (no way I can do even one of these plants in the morning before work). Is everyone okay with next weekend?

They looked a smidge early to me, so I think next weekend would be fine.

If you don't like trichome pics, you can skip this ;).

I shudder to think what kind of person doesn't like trichome pics??? :eye-roll: Looking good. I am amazed at how ripe your trichs look at 45 days because my Cannatonic took 84 days and I read the two strains are related.

Sooner the better to keep the CBD high....
I waited to long on my last ACDC and the CBD was lower than expected
Sooner like today or sooner like next weekend would be okay? How long did your Candidas run?
They looked a smidge early to me, so I think next weekend would be fine.
I hope so!

I was expecting closer to 70 days, not this soon. o_O
