InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Oh man i’m Sorry to hear about the pup. SO stressful - sending wishes and love across the seas
Thanks Amy.
Haven't worked for 3 weeks now, sure I will get the sack now mid summer but I feel maybe it's the best anyway.
Oof! Maybe you should grow some Spliff Berry and keep your job? Most people in the states need jobs. Just a thought...
Are you going to perform a true RMS test on those RH meters?
Um...no.
I went and grabbed some right away. I paid a couple bucks more than you, but I’ll take it! Bought a four pack a little while ago and they were either spot on or plus 1. Thanks for the heads up, taiwei should send you some freebies ;)
Sorry to hear puppers is still not feeling good. I’m sending extra love to Mrs. Shed.
Thanks double H. I'll let her know. And I'll be in touch with Taiwei once I have a final count of how many sales I'm responsible for ;).
That’s heart breaking man. I hope the new day brings better news for you and your family man. :hugs:
Thank you AW.
Prayers your way...
Thanks Sly.
Wow seems like a lot going on in the shed. :) blink and I'm 6 pages back. Plants look so green and happy yo.
No blinking rugged!
Hope the doggo is ok my friend
Me too. Thanks Chris.
Sorry to hear about the pup shed hope things work out for you
Nice find on the hydrometers that is exactly what I've been looking for had some issues with my cure on my last crop

I did have an off topic question. I am going to be growing some auto's for the first time going to have them in 5 gallon pots outdoors and was wondering do I plant the seedling directly into the 5 gallon and put it outside or do I start in a smaller pot and put it under my lights then put it outside. There is no danger of frost and the temps will be ok putting right outside just wondering about the stress involved with transplanting an auto a couple of times
You know I'm talking about my dog too much when an autoflower question is considered "off topic" .

Ideally, put autos into their final homes when they sprout. I didn't this time because I don't have room for the 7 gallon I normally put autos in, but less stress is better.
Hey Shed. Sorry to hear that you're still having trouble. I hope things work out for you and your family :green_heart:
Thanks Professor.
Awww sorry to read about your pup, sending good thoughts and smoke signals. Man your journal moves fast, your plants are looking great.
Should know more in a few hours. Thanks DrD!
Oh no Shed. Tell your wife to BREATHE. It's the hardest thing to do when super stressed, but it will help.

Praying for your family and hoping it is something treatable :green_heart:
Thank you NTV. I keep handing her a paper bag for the breathing part!

Thursday update under overcast skies again. June gloom became May grey and it moved into April. So out of the last 7 days, the plants have been out 3. Not really the way it's supposed to be here at Shed's place, so the Chinese hoax that is climate change seems to be having an actual effect on my growing o_O . How do they do that?

Thank you for all your doggie thoughts, and I'm sorry the tone of this place has changed to the extent that plant-related questions are off-topic. So let's get back to some plants, shall we?

Here are some pics of the Candidas on flip day 42 (6 weeks):

Look...a few new white pistils!

They are still on 6g MC and ¼ tsp Armor Si.

I'm getting a smell off them that reminds me of lemon scented cleaning fluid, which is different from anything else I've grown. Every time I move them I feel like I'm walking down a recently mopped elementary school linoleum hallway!

From the look of the pistils you would think I should be checking the trichomes, but I ain't gonna peek yet. Six weeks better be way too early for these babies so I'll live in denial a bit longer.

I've been watering everything else with between 4 and 5g of MC and spraying for bugs, who like that they're in the shed all day lately. This weekend I should be getting rid of enough plants to make room for transplanting the IIP and the LPa.

Oh, and the sun's not going to be out for 10 days or so!

I hope things are sunnier where you are!

Nice pick up on the hygrometers ... lets see if the Aus. ‘zon is like the Canadian (it usually is ;) )

... ok so not even available here. I recently bought some round ones, analogue style and plan to to the “put them in a bag w boveda pac and mark the spot”, thing that someone (i cant remember who) posted recently. They were cheapish but not that cheap! Fantastic that they all seem within a margin of error for accuracy. :thumb:

:hmmmm: which ones did you get Derb? I like this idea and have been thinking about it a lot.
The Wyze pan & tilt. Just be warned that at this time they do not work thru a repeater but if your Wifi picks them up you're golden. You can set them up with macros to pan and tilt to 4 different areas every few seconds or min. And be able watch on my phone or internet.

I'm really liking those Candidas!

I'll be hitting mid 90s by Saturday
Summer is almost here
Yeah...on the surface of the sun! All gloom here.

I set them up and you can watch on your phone or the internet? No thanks!
;)
Candidas looking awesome!
Thanks Crazy! Waiting for the bulk...
I'm really liking those Candidas!
Thank you BL. I think they're going to need staking soon, especially since they (occasionally) get carried around!
Yep - Candidas looking great. I even saw some white stigmas (pistil hairs) so I‘m pretty sure you’re OK
Phewf!
Nice looking Candida Shed. Really heavy on the fuzz in that one pic!
The fuzzier the better!
Looking yummy indeed
Lemon cleaning fluid yummy!
If your school hallways smell like your growroom I'd be suspect! Autoflowers off topic
Thanks for the laughs Shed!
:)
Nah, but :thanks:
Candidas look great, really great. I’m confused where are you’re flowering them? The Oval?
They're in the 2x4 tent under the Mars Hydro SP-250 when the sun isn't out. And they sleep there at night, in my daughter's room since she's not back until June when these should be done. All the vegging plants are in the Oval of Brightness® because the light's on all night so they stay warm.

Wow pictures.. Damn dude,,, she fills them jeans really well............... Whole lotta going on in there....

You have a fan that blows things around in there? Just trying to understand what lengths you to when they are just in the dark for the night. After living the last couple weeks like you, grabbing plants taking em’ out for sun and making sure to put them back before sunset. I realized if I could keep it up, I could just turn the whole tent off upon removal and then turn it back on when they come back in. Keeping the timer going, I can supplement with light if needed, like if I had to run out of town or go to the movies.
I might really have to change my name to InTheGarage...:lot-o-toke:
