Congrates on the chop or for those trees felling, great looking budFirst chubby Hobo Lady down!
Had to use good ol power oscillating tool to chop her down.
She was so big, and thick I had to cut her in half to drop all the big foliage. Even got some color on the trimming scissors.
That's what she gets for talking back! I will cut a hobo! BwhahahahaHobo blood in your cutters....
Excellent!!!!
Thanks Con! It's been a ride! But the hobos are almost home! One more stinky freak to drop tomorrow!Congrates on the chop or for those trees felling, great looking bud
Thanks Keith! Hoping for a nice return, I've got one more to drop. We will see here in a month or two how she smokes!Nice chop OGpapa and real nice bud.
Whoop Whoop !! Looks like you got a couple of nuggets there!!! NIceHasta la vista Hobo Ladies!
Chop chop! It's been a great ride! But the speaker has spoken!

In regard to the lights temp I am a little surprised that its running that hot with the driver not attached and being outsidie of the room . Mine will run about 120 but my drivers are attached and they are 430 watters. So Im curiuos to see if cranking the dimmer up changes drives the heat up on the lamp. Something is telling me if it does its not going to be by much. I hope I'm right as it would make managing it easier.I noticed my smallest tent running much higher temps the last 5 days or so. When I peeped today it was always 90f Inside the tent, while outside of the tent is 69-71f
I did upgrade to the @PhlizonGrowLight FD6000. I run the driver outside of the tent.
So I started checking out some numbers.
The light been operating at 46% because it's a mixed variety tent. Old plants, young, clones, flowers, cactus, peppers and such.
The driver running 150f in a room that avg 69-71f at 46%
So I went to check the light bar, 132.1f at 46% this tent started at 70.7f before lights on and hit 90f in 3hrs of run time inside the tent.
The tents always been well ventilated, running 6in ac infinity in a 5x5 2 vents open, 2 fans inside the tent.
But I will have to keep my eye on this one. Can't be cooking the plants!
Light could be a great option in winter to get through them long cold snaps.
I will see how low I can turn the light down, and get some numbers.
Maybe even empty the tent this weekend and turn her up to 100 and get some numbers!
Feeling hot hot hot!
I'm running an experiment on that. Just to see if the PH changes significantly. Gallon jugs, two of them. Nutrients are mixed and PH is at 6.4.
When I feed/water tomorrow I will recheck to see.
I love experimenting and testing things out. Why? Just 'cuz.
Yeah me too.. and I like gadgets so, I just ordered a ph monitor and doser.. lol
If it drifts, it can fix itself. I’ll post all the details in my thread when available.
Cup test set up at 12pm today
1st cup red left.
Well water after 48hrs
7.45ph - 71.5f
2nd cup clear center
Well water after 48hrs/pH down
6.2ph - 70f
3rd cup red right
TPS a and b, TPS nitrogen, TPS cal mag TPS silica ( my veg blend ), then pH down
6.22ph - 69.9f
Each glass will be tested this afternoon about 8pm, 8 hrs after started. Then a few times throughout tomorrow. Then once a day the following days for a 7 day total runtime.
Curious on the fluctuations, and or fallout. I will do the same with flowering blend, when it's mixed next. But flowering blends always seem to get fed to plants, no matter what because of the volume they consume.
But I would be interested in seeing if my values change drastically over a period. Could be what I seen with the high pH on pots the other day.
Didn't even see ya post!Whoop Whoop !! Looks like you got a couple of nuggets there!!! NIce

In either case if need be you could build a box frame hood like they have for HID lights for it. That you could hook one of your fans up to to draw air in and around it a pull the heat out.
So you’re getting some serious drift as well. Across the board even.

Never would I have ever thought. It concerns me most with just straight well water, watching it go that high makes since to how much pH down I have had to use at times to hit my range. So you’re getting some serious drift as well. Across the board even.
What I’m doing for now is putting a couple gallons in a bucket, phing it down to around 5.5 and dropping in an airstone.
The air seems to help it stabilize, you might have to adjust it a little after 24 hours (mine sets between 6 and 6.3) seems to remain stable enough to trust after that.
I’ll be running a 29 gallon holding reservoir with the doser and monitor. That will give it plenty of time to stabilize and get adjusted automatically.
That’s the theory anyway .. lol
Had to get a dehumidifier to dry this harvest (the same humidity your seeing now) and want to build it all into a stand.
I know I'm surprised as well. I don't try to keep mix around long. But sometimes especially in the winter 8 gotta fill all my 5gal bottles when the weather permits. Sometimes depending on what's growing it can sit for a week or 2. It now has my attention. I think I'm gonna start saving for a better pH pen. I trust my numbers, but I don't want any second guessing anymore. I have let pH drive me craZy.Wow i knew PH drifted up but not that much over 5 days nice info thanks
I'm sneaky like that .lolDidn't even see ya post!
oh yeah Dj short actually stated in a interview I have around here somewhere that the flower that he likes and intrigues him the most is that small nugget tucked way in there in the middle ..that they are the most unique and tends to have the most flavor.Little nuggies are my fav. This should be plenty for a weekend.
I'm with you on that.Light temps I know. Crazy! I will run test shortly. The only thing I can think of is like the internal rheostat, causing a higher draw because it's dimmed. Maybe she just wants to run 100% all out!
cant forget the cardboardI'm all about venting, last summer was steady 110f+ for weeks at a time. I have to get a game plan ready. Ive looked at a few industrial vents for greenhouses and such. All comes down to doing it red green style duct tape bubblegum and can of spam
interesting stuff . Now when I say this I am assuming everyone is using Genral hydroponics Ph down. Has anyone reached out to them and asked how long someone can expect non circulated water to maintain a stable ph after adjusting it to a specific level ?

No but that's actually a really good idea. General Hydroponics pH down is the best that I've used. It's my preferred brand. I'm gonna have to reach out right now. Just for giggles.I'm sneaky like that .lol

Plz be sure to report back with their response. I've only ever used the GH brand myself, for PH up/down and the nutrients as well.No but that's actually a really good idea.
