If you get an auto do the thc % values change? We’re gonna start a few autos just to do quick grows. Hoping to get decent yields but if the potency suffers may not be worth it.Hey mrs growchy.. the alien vs triangle is an auto from mephisto genetics. Its a cross of their triangle kush and their ripleys og. Smoked some this morning and its similar to the skywalker kush. Pretty decent smoke for an auto.

Hey Toast at what point do you cut a test your nugs and what do you do for drying?
I’ll tell ya I used to wait till almost the very end snip a nug and put it on the house oil burner or cable box (don’t have either of those now) but I even put it in the oven real quick once and tried drying it with my hair dryer lol so many ways just curious what y’all do...

Yea thc values are lower in autos but not by much it seems. Have had a few good autos so far.. but they could be better. Autos are good to get to harvest fast and get bud in your jars.
Usually cut testers when buds look good enough to smoke lol. I just dry em on top of my grow lights if i want a quick dry.
Sadly im almost positive that whole plant i just harvested has mildew or something on the buds. Shit dont taste right. Smells fine and feels normal but when you like rub the bud with your finger you can see lots of stuff that comes off and it aint trichromes lol. Its on all the buds washed and unwashed. Meter said rh was 75 when i put them in there because of how wet the buds were. Was down to normal, 45-55 in the morning but those few hours ruined em.
Not sure if i should even keep the tent they were drying in.. should probably throw that away too. Drying a few branches in it now to see what happens.. wishing i had cut smaller ones.
Ive had to take a break from the site cause my thumb on my right hand is all swollen and hurts when i type. Hurts to type this out dammit.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Could be a combo of small tent area w/ insufficient air flow + too high rH. 30's - low 40's rH at most better range for finish line buds.
Yea don’t take a chance if you think they got moldy.

Hatedvto hit that like button. Wish there was an unlike for things like that. Sht man ive had to throw out some hard work. I do it for health so if theres any mold of mildew it lts out. Suck for sure though.

Damn toast, sorry to hear that. I think you could probably clean that tent really well and use it in the future. I would clean the hell out of it with a H2O2 spray first....let it dry fully for a day or two and then repeat again, and then do one more cleaning with a bleach spray.

Sorry to here about your harvest Toast. I wouldn't toss the tent just a good cleaning like van said and let it sit a few days in between spray downs with low humidity if possible
Congrats on the harvest toasty and Awww man at the same time. I hope you got everything figured out. Those are some big ass nugs man

Sorry guys been kinda bummed out this week.. thanks for the kind words everyone. I really appreciate them all. Im not too upset anymore, mostly cause the lost coast seems ready to go lol. But i guess im happy i didnt lose my whole harvest just the one plant. Plus i was more excited about the chemdawg and lost coast any way so glad it wasnt them.
Had dried a few other branches in the tent and jarred them lastnight. This morning the rh was 68 in jar but buds smelled fresh and yummy so no mold there. 72 at lunch and same great smell. Decided to try a bit of the chem and hot damn is it good. Tasted so damn good.
Figured out what smell the chemdawg is giving off.. a gassy lime smell. Haven't had much weed that smelled like that so it took me a bit but its fruity scent is lime. Pretty sweet since i love lemons and limes.
Also i really wanted to thank yall for supporting me last month. Got my first prize today, the magic butter machine... holy shit you can make all kinds of yummy cannabis infused foods with it! Didnt really know that.. neat little recipe book came with it. Cant wait to get started using that bad boy.. even has little ranbow lights around the top. Nearly pissed myself with excitement when i opened and checked it out. Its sooooo cool lol.

I know it's a bummer. I'm just started and get bummed when I don't see much growth. I would be down for days if I did that much work, and had unsatisfactory results.
We are here to lift each other, provide assistance, and a shoulder when things don't go right.
