I read a really detailed article against flushing today. It indicated that the soil naturally acidifies.
It gave me the impression in such a situation. That I should up the ph of the water using food.

Plants use H⁺ (hydrogen) and OH⁻ (hydroxyl) ions, which are products of plant metabolism, to trade for mineral nutrient ions that adhere to soil particles, such as NO3⁻ (nitrate) or K⁺ (potassium). This mechanism is so effective that plants are able to move some nutrients against a gradient with a difference in concentration of 10,000 times!35 Plants do not secrete H⁺ (hydrogen) and OH⁻ (hydroxyl) ions in equal measure; instead they tend to favor H⁺, which means that the plant is actively acidifying its soil (this occurs in addition to decomposition and consequent carbonic acid accumulation.) Yea it does thats why you usually need lime for your outdoor soil cause ph can be way to low. I dont mean to flush em at all. Just me thinking they are still thirsty then it goes right through em. Kinda like a drunk having too many beers lol.

Drive-by. You know this Puppies I'm growing turn a waxy yellow. I always thought was the lower nitrogen levels,,, but it's the plant I have. And if I didn't fight Miss J, I'd have bald plnts... She hates yellow leafs and will pull everyone... Unless I yell at her... LOL.. Like that does any good.. But then I've grown this plant 7-8 times and I have a decent feel for her. First time I grew her I thought I had root problems.. She droops at night like she's dead at times. Hopfully she's fine... GL and Keepem Green

Emerald Triangle-Lost Coast OG She's on track to finish up in three weeks by the looks of it. Haven't looked at the trichs closely but pistils are turning fast and she is fattening up a bit. The frost just wont quit. Wonder how the smoke will hit me, could be a real winner in the potency department. I've decided to let her ride it out and do her thing. I noticed the ph of my tap water has gone down from 8 to 7 and ppms have risen, wondered why I have been lowering the ph so much with the same amount of citric acid crystals added. Thinking I need to try and change the house filter that the water runs through in the basement. Probably the cause, she must not like the lower ph as much.
Humboldt Seed Organization-Chemdawg Once she is done hot damn its gonna be sweeeeeet. Those buds are getting heavier and more resinous every day. Most of the strains I've grown pack on the trichs early on. She teases ya and waits till the end. Wasn't impressed with her at first now I go in the tent and try not to shed a tear at how awesome her buds are. Seriously like the perfect hybrid from looks and smell. Fruity and fuely, with citrus and spice notes. Big heavy dense buds that dont look like they will be finishing up anytime soon. Thinking of building some sort of wooden circle support her branches can fall down onto and rest on.
Rich Farmer's-Girl Scout Cookies Xtrm This girl is confusing me.. Day 26 of flower and I'm really thinking about cutting her down next weekend. How the hell a plant flowers out in less than 40 days is unreal. All the signs are there though, smell is strong, like crazy fuely sweet licorice. Trichs are fully developed and look gorgeous, most are cloudy and amber on those top nugs. Resinous sticky fuckin' buds, all the pistils have turned, fan leaves are yellowing. Looks like a decent yield too. Cant fuckin' believe it! We will see with the smoke report but hot damn thanks Rich!! Well done there. Had absolutely no problems with her. No purple to be seen but fuck if I care.
Other plants.. Mephisto Genetics Alien Vs Triangle will be harvested this weekend. I can palm a basketball but I cant wrap my hand around her main cola. She looks small but damn she puts out.
Crop King Seeds WW auto is doin' ok.. will probably take her down and use her for oil next weekend.
Veg tent is a mess. Plants are all at various heights/stages of life. I love and hate myself for what I have done here lol. xD
Made a hash ball out of the dry sift from the trimmings of the Dark Devil and Skywalker Kush autos. Hard to tell from the lighting but it is a deep purple amber color. Hoping to have some DD buds left and will use it to make more dry sift. The buds aren't that great.
Then last but not least.. got my 2nd place contest winnings from seedsman today! From a few months ago lol. I contacted them late and they forgot to ship it so when I contacted them again they threw in that pack of Northern Soul. Which is seedsman's cross of northern lights and skunk #1.. pretty excited for that since I've been meaning to get an NL strain and didn't know that was the freebie they sent me. Then there's Nirvana's Bubblelicious, been wanting to get a bubblegum strain since I started growing and it was the first one I came across. Keep going back to it and have heard a few good things. Then that single seed from Ace seeds.. Tikal fem. Some sort of new sativa strain that's supposed to taste like strawberries. The seed itself looks super good, tiger striped like crazy. AK-48 may be promising too, cant get enough sativa.

Hope you don't mind my 2 cents??? When I transition a plant,,, I always juice them with Cal-Mag for the first 7-10 days....... Can't hurt... 2 mill per gallon...
That's one of the biggest problems plants have. Helps alot. Even alittle silica,, like a mill a gallon. Got to build strong bones in plants too...

You’re getting me awfully excited with the way you’re talking about HSO Chemdawg. It’s going to be a long next four months while I wait! 
Looking great toast, Bedroom Cookies has shown her stuff quickly once again, pw’s looked great as well.

Real good looking plants there toasted. Will be a great harvest coming up soon. Lost Coast will finish before 60 days. See you using all kinds of household stuff to prop up plants. Suggest some foam blocks available from hobby stores...lightweight, stackable, inexpensive.

Yeaaa dobe you just wait bud.. and wait and wait lol. The cookies i have isnt quite the same as pws.. his was gsc xtrm x afghan kush, the one i have growing is a gsc xtrm selfie. Smaller buds but they look a bit different than his did.

Drooping hard today and i just watered em Tuesday night. Ill check out those foam blocks.. great idea there. I just use what ever i have lying around. Mine were different from his original GSC xtrm, his had huge purple colas where mine were somewhat smaller and no purple.

Yea no purple yet here.. not complaining at all. His plant may have been bigger though and the colas on yours were pretty big i thought man. Thanks moon talk to me in a few months and we will see about that hehe. Thanks a lot van i really appreciate that!! Cant believe i keep getting nominated though... its like almost better then winning.. this is my fifth time now and it gets more fun each time haha. ....

Everything is looking excellent it! I dont know what the night time temps were for my gsc xtrm grows but i just recently got a thermometer for my grow tent. The wireless kind, night temps must have been super low.... trying to keep night temps around 70 now but im used to much colder weather at night and have to use the heater. I had no idea until getting the gauge and checking my recorded lows. Its work to keep night temps up but before i would have the window open, room freezing.
Im pretty sure they will turn a deep purple if you get the night temps low, thats what im thinking. Not auto purp but you may be able to put ice on top of the soil at night for the last few weeks of flower to simulate cold nights. I saw someone do it on there outdoor grow and it worked to get some color out of the plant but it was outdoors and idk how that affected the results.
