Thats where i got the chain too. It was extra from another project. Total mod, mine had those thin wires too. Just grab some pliers, s hooks, and an extra safety clip.

Hopefully the hangers it comes with wont hang the light too low.. otherwise im in trouble with a 5' tent. This is what i mean, i lose a whole foot of space cause of the hangers.. last time i had to wrap them around the bar and tape them with duct tape to hold them. That was sketchy, i dont wanna do that with an expensive light.
The canopy is 18" away from the lights now but i do have them on some crates.. they are loving life. I think ill tie em both down. They are the same height again lol.

Trained the two branches that had grown out from when i topped them three weeks ago. Now they are even with that third branch at the bottom of each plant, which i bent down on each plant. There are so many other small branches growing in the middle of each plant.. its getting crazy. I want to defoil some but at the same time i want to leave them. I defoiled too much last grow.

Glad to have you here man!! Its gonna be a fun one for sure.. buckle up though who knows whats ahead! I may have to have another hot tie down session with them today, they are getting a bit unruly. Im trying not to defoil at all this time, only taking off sick looking or dead leaves. Lots of fan leaf tucking will be done this grow. Haha thanks so!
The new growth looks a little yellow and the other day it was pretty green.. not sure if the ro water has to do with it. I may switch over to using my bubbled tap water again when i give them plain water and use ro water when i feed. Cause my tap water is around 115 ppm which is around the cut off point to keep the ph perfect nutes on point. Ill try it out and see what happens. Got a little burn on one of the leaves so i will use less nutes next time as well.
Other then that they looked really happy and since i tied them down a little i raised them a little closer to the lights. Now they are 16" from the canopy, which is totally even on both plants. Curious to see how they react.
Branches fully recovered from the hot bondage session.
Burnt leaf, had a couple other burnt tips as well on another.
Even canopy getting a little uneven lol.

Starting to turn into little beasts brotha. Great LST. With RO make sure you use a little more calmag than you used to. It won't have any in the water unlike tap.

Thanks a lot guys i appreciate the good vibes! They are a little lesbo couple.. so cute lol. Ive seen lots of pics of the vk pop up recently and she gets really frosty too but not as bulky. They both look like some really great smoke and hopefully the phenotypes turn out to be what ive been seeing. Looking great so far.. ill probably flip them a couple weeks after i get the dwarf star set up!
