Imtoasted's Journey Of Perpetual Bliss

Hopefully the hangers it comes with wont hang the light too low.. otherwise im in trouble with a 5' tent. This is what i mean, i lose a whole foot of space cause of the hangers.. last time i had to wrap them around the bar and tape them with duct tape to hold them. That was sketchy, i dont wanna do that with an expensive light.

Very simple fix. measure corner to corner the light mounts your wire hanger is on, go to your local sporting goods store and buy some 60# test fishing leaders as close to the measurement you had, install the hooks on the leaders and hang from the middle with your ratchet carabiner, you will gain at least 10" if not a foot of height.

I would show you a pict of mine but I am out of town for a couple more days.:smokin2:

I have those ratchet hangers and never thought to use them with chains in that setup.. thanks man! Ill watch that video too.. thanks pw! You guys are great. They were closer then 5" i think, thanks for the heads up.

Trained the two branches that had grown out from when i topped them three weeks ago. Now they are even with that third branch at the bottom of each plant, which i bent down on each plant. There are so many other small branches growing in the middle of each plant.. its getting crazy. I want to defoil some but at the same time i want to leave them. I defoiled too much last grow.

I'm sure this isn't much help since you're going with the dwarf star but this is what I did with my Vipar. I gained about 7" with nothing added or subtracted.

Plants are looking great. Grab some ratchet hangers to make it easier. I take a length of chain with C rings I believe they are called. It is an oval that has a piece that threads up and down to open. Then I hook the ratchets to the middle of the chains. Can get them as close as 5 inches to the roof and you don't want to higher or you will smother the fans. That may be why you were running hot at the end of your last Grow.

if you zoom in you can probably see what I mean if not I'll take a good pic for you when the lights come in tonight.

Listen you know how those things metal wires hook on to the four corners of light unit? Is there a way I can reduce how long the string is? Sighs probably not asking question filbert good ?

Theirs always a way to shorten them, just a simple clamp or tape in the middle of all four can reduce the length a few inches alone

Thank you I'll play with them later appreciate your time thank you .

Imtoasted's Second Journey To The Promised Land

I did something like that.

I use the ratchet hanger too and my lights hang minimum 9"s from top of tent. Im sure i could reduce that with a couple S hooks or just being creative with some extra chain links.
