Hydroholic's House Of Colas

They are taking to their new 1 gallon cloth pots famously. The 2 autos are on par for what the last run was. The DD is just sad. If it wasn’t a DD it would have been mulch.

Going to take down the SC2 and the JH2 today. All the little plants are at 2.5 and the larger plants are at 3.0gm of MC. I will jump to 3.5 on the next watering for the autos. I may go to 3gm on the Photos but they are still nice and green. They have been happy with 2.5. I am getting the hang of watering the cloth pots.
After I take the 2 autos out I will cut the lights back to 50%. I don’t care the DD gets the extreme light. If she wanted more light she should have earned it and not be Bitchy.

What'd ya do to the DDA? She looks perkier today!
I think your projecting hope on the DDA. Lmao. It’s the same. I have been talking mad shit to it, maybe she’s scared.

Great thread @Hydroholic , skimmed through the pics, loved your last crop of DDA's hopefully this one bounces back.
Thanks. I really loved the other plants. I think it’s a genetics thing with the DDA strain. I will continue to grow DDA’s in search of another big plant. The smell is amazing.

Topped the two Brain Killer haze, also the Green Diamond between the 4th and 5th node. I have read that the Skunk #1 doesn’t grow tall so not sure whether to top. It being Sativa Dominant I would think it would grow tall. Everyone seems happy. Not jumping .5 mg each watering and actually reading the plants things look right in color.

Great call Hydro! A good tool to measure the greenness is by using the darkest plant you have. You'll notice when they get lighter if they are side by side as that's the easiest indicator. As soon as you see the lower sections lighten up or lose their greenness then you bump up .5g - 1g.

Chopped up the JH2 today. Thick buds. My eyes were burning from the smell.
Backed off .5 mg on the little guys. They all went very green after the bump up to 3mg. I’m trying to decide whether to go from the 1 gallon to the 3 gallon pots or go to the 7 gallon (their final pot). I like the idea of not contaminating the extra soil with unused nutrients.

Did the whole watering thing today. I am being very methodical with the watering as you can see by my sheets. Ramping up the MC .5mg each time is not the way to run this stuff. I am seeing consistency with my PPM with what I expect to see in this growth stage. I am happier being off the RO water and not having to add all the buffers.
All 3 plants that I topped took off and are looking great. I am in the stretch with the NL and the DL. This will be the last watering in the 1 gallon pots. I still don’t know whether to go to 3 gallon pots or straight to 7. I am leaning 7 gallon.

That DDA is looking just fine, though I prefer it in the middle rather than on the right. :)

I go from 1g to 7g but I don't soak the entire pot for a week or so. I water the center where the original soil is and then in a smaller ring between that and the outside edge.
7 gallon it is. Im lazy and don’t want to transplant 3 times anyways. Lol

I agree on taking it slower with the MC, I increased too fast after all the talk of 6.5g/gallon on the MC thread.

"the enemy of good is better"

Transplanted all the little ones into 7 gallon pots. I had roots growing out of the cloth 1 gallon pots and watering frequency changed. Not sure if I will use cloth pots if it is not it’s final pot again. I lost lots of roots that stuck in the bag. Will hand water these for a couple of weeks then I can turn on the Flora Flex drippers. No way I am lifting these up after they are watered. 5 plants in 7 gallon pots should fill this 5x5 tent. Lol
