I think it means we can be pretty sure Hutch is a Virgo.

I know a Libra the same, but they prefer whiskey to wine. The rest seems spot on, thoughWell in that case, my rising sign is Scorpio,
Scorpios are known for enjoying red wine and music, they can be OCD when it comes to order and they have a sprinkle of bad temperedness when pissed off. Scorpios are also known to have potty mouths, and their confidence often outweighs their ability.
I DO like my wine, and whiskey for that matter, but it turned out I liked them too much...been 36 years! Thank goodness for weed!I know a Libra the same, but they prefer whiskey to wine. The rest seems spot on, though
I don't know if rising matters, but I did find this when I added rising and it is similar but much better put.
"hooch" lol. I'm hoping I can just keep her going without too much intervention. I should probably be tying her top branches down but I really want to see how she will grow on her own. Today is day 10 and no flowers yet but they should appear in the next couple of days. Once they appear I wonder if she'll keep on stretching? At this point she could triple in size and still fit in the tent. Thanks for dropping by DonkeyDick! This sativa sounds like tasty hooch, Hutch. Pretty fantastic stretch she has going there. Good luck keeping a lid on it.
Hutch, it could be a commercial for indoor lighting! For real, they make me smile because they are just so flippin' happy! Mine limped along this spring. Hey, this might just convince Santa to hook me up with some lights this year.Hello 420mag gang! Here's the update for days 8 to 18Flip day 8. 11" tall.
Flip day 9. 12" tall.
Flip day 10. Fed 5 litres of water with 4 grams Mega Crop to the gallon.
Flip day 12. 16" tall.
Flip day 13. 17" tall.
Flip day 14. 19" tall. I keep raising the light every day. LUX is maybe 70,000 near the two tallest branches and closer to 50,000 lower down where most of the canopy is. I have tried a little super-cropping but they just keep growing straight up again. I'm going to just let them grow as I have a couple more feet of headroom. Hopefully they stop stretching when full flowering begins.
Flip day 18. 24" tall. Pre-flowers all over the place! Expect full flowering in a couple of days.
Fed another 5 litres on day 16 with 4.5 grams MC to the gallon, that is 6 days between feedings. I will keep her at 4.5 until she tells me she needs more. A couple of leaves showed signs of under-feeding from before but I think we're ok for the time being. With 88 more days to go we don't want to over do it and cause lock outs. She is the proper shade of green now. Temperature is pretty steady at 76-77F and RH at about 50-55%. VPD is therefore roughly 143 on the chart I use, which I think is ok.
So all is well with this lovely plant from Ace Seeds. Unfortunately I had to stuff two other plants in the tent with her. They were flipped in the veg tent but began to smell so I put them in there with the carbon filter. They will move out and into their assigned flower tent in about two weeks.
Thank you, they really make me happy too. Especially as soon as the lights come on in the morning I open the tent and gaze upon them. They've grown 3" each of the past two mornings!Hutch, it could be a commercial for indoor lighting! For real, they make me smile because they are just so flippin' happy! Woohoo, that is exciting!Today, September 23, 2020, is especially exciting!
We are ready to call it! Day 1 of flower!
Day 1 - Flip day 20, lifetime day 44. Thirty inches tall at those colas (6 inches in two days!) and around 17" at the middle canopy. I like the way the branches are growing into the centre. She is taking care of bud positioning so I don't have to defoliate to expose buds. At least not yet. I will be cleaning out the lower stuff at some point but so far it doesn't appear to be a problem in terms of air circulation down there.
Day 1 is always exciting but usually I ignore it when counting to breeder's harvest date. I normally count from the flip since I have been growing in two gallon pots and they generally ripen a week earlier than in larger pots and pretty close to the breeder's suggestion.
This plant didn't fully flower until day 20 of flip, about 10 days longer than I've experienced. If I count from flip this would put us in the 80's when I know this will need a hundred days of flower. Going forward I am counting from today, this being day 1.
Thanks for dropping by!
These tropical sativas are known to grow with extreme vigour and can be difficult to control in an indoor grow. They are not autos but changing the lighting early is to get them while they are still small. If they are allowed to grow large in veg they will become enormous during the stretch. The time saved at the beginning by not vegging is lost during flower, it will be flowering for 80 to 100 days!Woohoo, that is exciting!
Hutch these are not autos, right? They're photoperiod that you changed the lighting to flip to flower. Your lighting change essentially cut out about 8 weeks of growth I did outdoors before the days got shorter. Is that correct? Thank you!
I've got a feeling that youthful beauty will fade over the next 10 weeks or so. Some of the early leaves are already taking a beating. She looks so delicate and pretty
