Hurricane Warning: ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro - Category 5 Grow

Hanging in there. Keeping busy doing what we can. Incredibly scary and heartbreaking event. It will take Maui a long time to recover from this one.
Sorry to hear, no words that will help, Hugs to you.

The Atomic Jelly is thriving outside and starting to flower.

Hooked up the AC and adjusted the fans. The Category 5 is showing more advanced signs of stress from the messed up watering and lighting over the last week. I adjusted the bottom fan, and added a top fan to address windburn in the leaves above the bottom fan.
Temperature was 81, just dropped it down to 61. I'm already seeing some purpling, this should speed up that process and preserve terpenes.

Whats everyones experience with Grove bags? Is it really a set it and forget it cure? I've got to leave town right around harvest time, and won't be around for a few weeks, and don't trust/want to burden my house-sitter with burping jars.

Get them dry, we do a couple of weeks hanging. Trim, dry a bit more - its humid AF here always so they get damp again during trim. Then put in Grove Bags, seal ‘em up and put them somewhere cool and dark and you’re done.

Just get them nice and dry before they go in - they can’t work miracles there.

Love them.

Thanks, I know I can get them dry in a week if I need to. Pluck all the leaves, wet trim, remove all the nugs from branches and let rest in open cardboard boxes in an air conditioned room. Keep em cold and the humidity down and they dry up fast.

These ladies are starting to expand!

Drought and flush are over. Flushed them with AN carboload, b-52, and voodoo juice. Maintaining a 15 degree difference between day /night temps. I'm going to run with the flush mix for a few days. We're coming into the final weeks of this grow, this is when I like to start easing the plants into senescence/ripeness.

Nice work @ViparSpectra . For a 150W light in a 2'x2' tent, this is looking to be a nice little harvest of dense frosty purple buds.

I only PH'd once the whole grow, haven't adjusted the feed until today (day 51 of 65-75), and the only time I really spent on it was refilling the empty 5 gallon reservoir once a week. The plant has a very strong fruity/gassy smell, and sure the buds would be bigger and frostier with more watts on them but they look pretty dang tasty.

More rainbows in the making!!!

Looks great man!!!!

If you’re using advanced nutrients flush with flawless finish not voodoo. Idk who told you to use that. But it’s extremely expensive to using past weeks 1 &2. It’s a very potent microbial concentrate. B52 and carb load. Use till finish. Bud candy is a great microbial feed if that’s what you’re chasing.

Here’s a chart I follow. But I don’t use full strength with them. I use 3/4 at peak during boost.

Thanks I haven't seen this chart! It's one of the better designed AN charts for sure.

For the nute ratio I'm shooting for I use Grow, Sensi Bloom B for coco, Micro, and Sensi Cal Mag Xtra (and not in the recommended doses). I'll try and post my excel spreadsheet later to show my work.

It's more of a hempy flush, than a final flush. I'm clearing out the perlite media and trying to reset/support the root zone after a hydro drought. I'm still playing with droughting in perlite hydro, it's faster and there is more damage than soil media. The plant's gone through a stressful 2 weeks with power outages effecting the light/feed/water schedule when I was out of town, and then a drought. I'm thinking of this as a sort of root/stress tonic (yeah chances are I'm a kook, but maybe not :bong:  ).

"Unleash massive yields with our flagship product for roots. Voodoo Juice® features four hand-selected strains of bacilli that work synergistically to optimize conditions for increasing the surface area of your root zone. Together, these bacteria can help support mycorrhizal and rhizobial symbiosis, building a productive network of associations below ground. The result? Fuzzy enriched roots that soak up optimal nutrition for a lush, bountiful crop.

  • Improve nutrient uptake and water availability conditions, leading to explosive yields
  • Turn atmospheric nitrogen into plant-available ammonia for safeguarding nitrogen levels
  • Improves plant tolerance to abiotic (environmental) stresses
  • Make inorganic phosphates more soluble for increased availability

Voodoo Juice® is specially designed for use with diverse hydroponic growing media and all continuous liquid-feed growing systems such as aeroponics, drip irrigation and emitters, NFT, flood and drain, and deep water culture."

I'm going to run this mix for a few days, and then for my "final flush" I make a banana peel tea that will be the only feed added to the water until finish.

My thinking on the 'final flush' is more about removing nitrogen at the end of the grow to induce colors, while still providing some food for the flowers to continue ripening than to somehow wash leftover salts out of the cells of the plant.

(There was some nute burn on the leaf tips this round, and I need to reduce the feed when I run this strain in a bigger setup).

Love the color change and the frost in there Braddah! But if we're going to play spot the dead cockroach I'm gonna need full-sized pics. :)
Haha thanks shed!

Not sure if its the same for you, but on my computer I can click on the pic once, and it gets bigger:

then when you click on it a second time (with the magnifying glass thingy your mouse cursor turns into) you see the full size image:
