Hurricane Warning: ViparSpectra XS1500 Pro - Category 5 Grow

"final flush" I make a banana peel tea that will be the only feed added to the water until finish.

My thinking on the 'final flush' is more about removing nitrogen at the end of the grow to induce colors, while still providing some food for the flowers to continue ripening than to somehow wash leftover salts out of the cells of the plant.
That's really neat - love your thinking, keep a bit of K, P and Ca going in - plus bonus to outdoor growers apparently its really good for aphid deterrence. We have 6 banana trees next to the house so I'm sending my wife scrumping over there in a month or so when we need to start thinking about flushing.

Excited to hear how it works out for you!

For what its worth to anyone, here's how I setup the AC for the 2x2 tent. I'm using a second 2x2 as the lung room. The AC is in the second tent, and the intake for the grow tent is right above the cold air exhaust of the AC unit. Working like a charm, and easy to setup and take down.

Hmmm. Why do it that way? Do you find it’s too direct into too small a space to simply open the tent flap and sit the vent right against the opening with no lung room? That’s how I do it. On a 2x2 or 2x4 it is too small a space for that, but rather than a lung room I just use those tents for autos and open the door to adjust to the right environment. Interesting approach.

Both tents are in a large dusty, buggy, unsealed room where the only environmental control is opening a window with no screen. Both my intake and exhaust have carbon filters (on the lung tent I've opened a flap and taped a carbon filter over the opening as well), I'd rather be pro-active and maintain a sanitary environment in the tent to reduce the odds of mold/mildew/mite/pests taking hold. I also shower and wear clean clothes when working in the tent if I've been outside.

Also I'm trying to get the temps as LOW as possible with my setup. Cooling a small, contained, space is more efficient than pulling in mixed air from the room.

Where in Thailand did you go? Just Bangkok?
We flew into Bangkok as there wasn't a practical overland route at the time. I spent a few weeks hitching around the countryside in search of thai stick, but ultimately booked it for Bali chasing stories of waves and women.

Almost to the finish line. Wednesday is 60 days. Hoping she's ready for the chop on day 65 so I can get her dry and in those newfangled curing bags before I leave town again. Some of those leaves are gonna be black by the time she's done.

My pleasure. This plant was overfed, underfed, neglected, the light/feeding schedule was messed up during the most important part of flower, and your light still helped it pump out pretty nugs like this.

It’s incredible. I think it was well taken care of earlier, so it has tenacious vitality. In addition, you paid more attention to it in the later stage and gave her more light, She likes the light and grows happily, so it pumps out pretty nugs. :cheer:
