Sweet!... Good numbers with promise.......
Yes these are better numbers. I will need to price out the vodka and everclear and see which one comes out cost wise for me. I can get either one near by.

Here are the results from the latest oil distiller run. 1.75L 90 proof vodka, run in distiller 2 hours. I reclaimed 1.25L. Tossed the .5 left in the distiller. The test results were 142 proof or around 69%. I am now in the process of redistilling the not so great run from yesterday. I will have those results this afternoon.

So the second run on the vodka from yesterday came out to 143 proof or 69%. I had 1/4L waste. I could not detect any alcohol in the waste by taste or hydometer. Wish I had some 151 to test with. I think it would be closer to what we are looking for. I just happened to have a couple of jugs of 90 proof left over from another project. I will be making oil with this in the near future and will test it again.
I may do an experiment with a partial jug I have and stop the distiller when I have 50% of the vodka in the reclaim container. If 90 proof is 50% alcohol it seems correct that you would only get 50% reclaimed.

Here's a new source for 200 proof ethyl alcohol, family:
Extractohol
I haven't ordered yet....looks to me like KleenXtract reborn as Extractohol. Don't know.....but glad they emailed me.
If it is, they moved from S. Cal to Arizona. Local laws? IDK.

They must be KleenXtract redox, otherwise, how would they have my email address....wait one....I did email the old address that looks like an oriental company took over (Engresh no #1 speek).
This new company (new to me, anyway), Extractohol, looks american and legit (even a similar name). We shall see.
$299 includes tax (I assume plus shipping) for 5 gallons of 200 proof.
weird...
$350 for 190 proof (organic cane alcohol).
I did bring it to you guys, but I don't know the answer, Dennise! The 190 proof says it's organic cane. Maybe the 200 proof is not organic? Does that matter?
FANNY.......did you com with Tesla Scientific (Extractohol.com)?
It would be so cool if we could get Tesla Scientific to be a sponsor here!
High quality CCO solvent.
Christ why can't things be easy and logical.
Ever.
