Horse's Coco Hempy 400w CMH Vertical Crawlspace Grow 2010

I'm not sure, but think that your light is deeper than mine. More leaves get light on their bottoms and curl. I never worry, the buds ripen anyway.

Pretty is as pretty does, and everybody must get stoned.

Thanks for stoopin' in PG. The cage is 18" +/-. I'm seeing penetration around 20-24" where I've cleared paths. The light from the tip of the bulb doesn't seem to be doing much for the buds right now... but there is clawing at the bottom of the plants, closest to the light.

Speculations are all over the map, I just read one that said too high a pH would cause it? The list grows :grinjoint:

I've only grow one picture perfect plant in 40 years, and it got ripped the night before harvest! Now I'm into ugly :smokin:

High All,

I just picked up some of this KoolBloom to supplement the OC+

Anybody using it? I was planning on alternating it with the Sucanat?

:peace:

Hey Horse! Things are looking plenty good, don't sweat the curl... the leaves are green and you're getting great new growth.

I have a High times calendar from 97? or so with a plant that look beautiful, it also had curly leaves.

May just be a regular thing with that plant. Looks real nice and green!;)

Righto Sisco :grinjoint: Did that plant have staples in her navel? :)

Thanks, :peace:

horse,
ive had a few, have one now, will take a pic for you....that have done that, didnt seem to hurt the yield....just ugly....didnt affect the buds....they were fine....it seems to happen for me on the mostly sativa and starts when they are younger, but really shows up when in bud....like i said dont know what causes it, have cked all the usual suspects, usually i cut the ferts down to a bare minimum and it seems to help, so i think it is fert related....but i dont know....usually fert, every other day, but on those i wait sometimes...every two days with much milder dose....they finish, no potency loss or wt. loss, just some real ugly crap....wonder if its a genetic trait? L:thumb::thumb:
I think its the ferts affecting the sativa in the plant.....just my theory....L

High Lavendar,

It may be genetics, I think I'm seeing it on the other Jack... of course I could just be jumpy now!

May just be the plant's way to get the light blocking fan leaves out of the danged way of the good stuff?

But, the buds keep on truckin', so I'm just watching, for now.

Thanks for dropping in.

Giddyup!

Big Jack has seeming stalled out. She's at 39 days.

I started feeding the bloomers KoolBloom and Sucanat last weekend. I'm not seeing much packing action yet. Since my last grow permanently stalled about this time, I'm wondering if this is normal, or just me?

Little Jack has been showing feathers for 10 days. She's seemingly happy as a pig in coco :grinjoint:

The White Russian is just hanging around. She's been in sorta flower since I got her in the beginning of July.

Just before Little Jack started flowering in earnest, I cleaned out her nether regions, and thought I'd try cloning them. They were pretty tough stemmed, could probably be called woody. Scraped and split stems, dipped in Olivia's.

I mixed up 2 parts coco to 1 part Fafard potting soil, and used that on top of some perlite in a mini-hempy to go cup. They looked pretty limp the next morn.

Day after:

My very straight SIL gave Mrs Horse some Spray n Grow. Some kind of miracle micro nute. Apparently it's all the rage with Washington pot farmers. Been spraying 3x a day, and it looks like most of the clones are going to pull through.

White Russian clones that have had clones taken, so I guess they're just short, little mudders? :):

Things are kicking in the stall, and many thanks for the help all:thumb:

Hope a Happy Holiday is had by y'all :grinjoint:

Looking good my friend. I wish mine would get that far along, then they can stall too :)

Happy Holidays!

Thanks BlueDog,

Don't know about dogs and stalls, though we did have a big 120lb lab/shepherd that had to stay at the vet's once. She kept breaking out of the poodle pen they tried keeping her in. Made it tough to keep her I.V. in, so they moved her into a horse stall and hung the I.V. from a rope. Worked!

Happy Festivus to you and yours, too. Thanks to this place, we're having a green xmas ;)
