Thanks for stooping by Smokey. I have a lot of experience in turd polishing... alchemy is much easier ;)

I'll see ya at your place...

hey buddy, quick question? how you liking that Sucanat? any thoughts on it? notice any difference using it?

keep up the good work brother!

I think I like it ;) My first grow, I didn't use it, and it wasn't as frosty as the plants that have been getting it. Different strain, medium, and light too, though.

Mrs Horse found some in bulk at a health food store for something like a buck and a half a pound, so I'm going to keep using it :)

How do you mix it? I've just been putting into room temp water, but last night I was thinking maybe I should use hot water and make a super saturated solution (like for humming bird solutions). I think that may make it easier for the girls to get all that sugary goodness.

I'm also using dry KoolBloom, which must have some sugar cause it's so sticky.

I've done so many different things: nutes (OC+ and now the GH Maxi), perlite, coco, coco/dirt... I don't know if I'll ever know who's doing what to whom :tokin:

When the first Jack is cured, then this WR, if I'm not too baked, I should be able to tell if helps with the taste :grinjoint:

Thanks :peace:

i havent used it on my organic Jacks that i am about to harvest, but used it on my other grow and it mixed in nice with cold water, did get to finish that grow do to problems, but i am sold on organics now after seeing my Jacks, just smell very strong a little too strong.lol. and dripping with frost. seems to lose yield a little over chem nutes but quality makes up for that.

ya i here you about adding too much stuff, i use to do that and at the end i found out i didnt need 1/2 the stuff and kept the ones that were working for me.

thought i would drop by and see how things are? been a while, but i am still looking at your grow brother. enjoy your smoke my friend.

Ok kidz, it's time for the weekly update, brought to you by a pinch of White Russian :toking:

It's only cured about 3 weeks, still has some to go, but... it's knockout :smokin: Nice cerebral high, intensifies pleasant things like food tastes or a sunny, warm February day. Taste is sweet, even in a dirty pipe :) We're trying to stay out of the jars, but man, it's hard, ha! More as the cure continues, maybe.

Down in the crawl this morning...bloom tent shot.

Jamaica in the foreground, Jack Herer in the rear. The last Jamaican hermied at 15 days into 12/12, that's where we are with this one. I *Reversed* nine days ago. She gets another treatment tomorrow.

I like the way her buds are stacking. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me that she doesn't try to play for both teams!

The Jack is about done. Stigmas have mostly stopped coming out, and are a nice golden. Trichs are around 30-40% amber. Frost is sparkellee:smokin:

I stopped feeding her about a week ago, just running water as a flush. I tried to get some pics of something like sugar water slobber that is on some of the leaves and buds. It's not frothy, more like very tiny slug trails. Doesn't feel sticky. Has anybody seen this before?

This shot of the Jamican sorta shows her doing a little curling. I'm thinking it's a CMH thing. It's only on the upper leaves, doesn't seem to effect anything, and it happened on the last Jack. The little Jack isn't doing it nearly as badly as the last. I think that's because I've gotten more humidity in there than before 40-60% with the light on. It runs 30-40% at lights out. Should I try to keep boosting it then?

These re-vegging Jacks are fascinating to me.

I've never seen it to this extent. They're in a tent with a mix of bloom n veg T5s. I'm still thinking of flowering them as a sog under T5s. The grow bags are nice for squeezing into tight space, but they don't seem to make the root ball into as much of a structural thing as happens in pots. And, coming from only doing 10l hempys, these 1 gallon bags need a lot more attention moisture wise. Might have to change that.

They still have stigmas, but have gone through the pupating stage... I think.

This fan is as big as my hand, and that leaf is 3 fingers wide!

White Russian clones, almost ready for flowering.

They've both started to develop light green leaves throughout. I've tried some cal/mag foliar feedings, but hasn't seemed to green them back up. Any thoughts? I'm going to try some spray and grow next.

White Russian clone showing roots after 33 days. That's a long time it seems to me?

Group shot. The red cups have clones taken at the same time I did the girls that are now in the grow bags. Everybody has their own schedule!

Thanks for looking in,

:peace:

Hey Horse great update! That Jack looks awesome. I'll keep an eye on my grow for curling leaves too, but I don't think it's a light thing. Doc had it and he doesn't use cmh.

33 days for roots like that does seem long, I hope after 28 days max the cups are full. How did you keep her?

Hi Horse !

Things are looking great! I'm with Blue the Jack looks good.
My Lucy is a curly girl too....using CFLs.....so I don't believe it's the light. We are using different lighting.
Could you post a picture of the leaves with what looks like a bug trail?
Sounds like a leaf miner to me. If so Asamax will kill them. :peace:

I'm just guessing on the leaf curl, but slow dessication is sure what it looks like. Light, heat, humidity thing. What was Doc's diagnosis? It doesn't seem terribly debilitating to the plant, I'd just like to grow a picture perfect one, at least once. :)

If you mean how did I keep the clone while waiting for roots... the veg tents are on a 16/8 schedule. I saw a psuedo study that that gave plants the best root structure... and my roots have definitely been structured :grinjoint: RH goes between 50-HI%, temps between 60-75%. I've also got heat cables under the tray, and the tent is sitting on polystyrene insulation board. Pretty cozy in there :smokin:

If that's not what you meant, I probably keep her well below the style she was accustomed to :)

Thanks for chippin' in, time for more :reading420magazine:

High OMM, It's in here some where:

I'll try to get better one's tonight. I don't think it's miners. This is more like an almost liquid, exctoplasmic, splooge. Hasn't shown any adverse effects, yet. Can't tell if it's a plant secretion from all the sugar binging, or if it's frostiness dripping from heaven (naah, the ceiling doesn't leak, but that is the first place I looked :smokin:). I'm just thinking it could be vampire drool, since it doesn't show up in pics? I do have a sprayer locked and loaded w/ Azamax just in case :)
