Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

On the bright side there are many other Homer's running around trying to figure out the same thing. I heard the trick is a jeweleller's screwdriver around the wood and wax and she pops right out.

My basement/grow room reorganization is taking a little longer than anticipated but going well. I ran out of 2x4's so I'll go pick a few more up tomorrow; should be done within I would estimate two more days and it should be a much better system.

I am changing things up a bit with my training this time. Instead of doing a quadlining and then just letting things go wild this time I am going to have just two secondaries which I just topped for a second time today so now I have four tertiary branches and eventually I will top for the third time and end up with just eight main colas and I will trim anything else.

That sounds like a good idea.

That screw was a good solution

Too bad he didn't have more pics. ;)

lol, well when I said I heard to do it that way I only learned that when looking for those pics.

It looks like he burned the box. I guess if I was going to do it that way I would have heated the screw up and screwed it in, let it cool and pull it out with pliers. Or I would have put it under Grandpa's press from frustration.

I think what threw me for a loop was I read that somebody melted it because it was wax but mine didn't have the consistency of wax but more like some kind of a glue or epoxy? Whatever it was I got it out and the seeds, vial and wooden case are all intact.

At least you know your seeds weren’t tampered with
That is exactly what I was thinking which is why I didn't mind the challenge getting them out. I think that's why they do it like that and they do mention I think I read on their site it's good for long-term storage the way they do it and gets them safely to you. Don't quote me.

An ironworker would have gotten a bigger hammer.

I'm guessing you are right and it was probably hot melt from a glue gun.
An ironworker would have gotten a bigger hammer.
Or got his apprentice to figure it out. :high-five:

Yes from the consistency I think it was from a glue gun.

When looking for men who will walk a six-inch beam 300 feet in the air intelligence isn't exactly the trait they select for so not sure the apprentice would be a lot of help, LOL.

So I went out this morning to get eight 2 x 4 x8's and I guess since the pandemic wood has almost doubled in price and I had to pay almost $90. Some guy in the parking lot who heard me whining in the store was saying they shut down a lot of the sawmills so nobody can find wood right now.

It probably would have been quicker if I just went out to the woods and cut it myself:laughtwo:
My 2-day job of reorganizing my growing rooms still seems 2 days from completion 5 days out but I like how it is turning out. I think I may be posting a little surprise in the next little while.

Chemdawg Barks for the first time! My Chemdawg has a tail after about 24 hrs in water! So happy to see its alive!

I was a little worried this morning when I looked at it after having it soaking all night that it had not even cracked yet so I was delighted when I checked in the evening that had it not only cracked but had a pretty ample little tail for that much time. I now have it between paper towels to check for a day to see how vigorous it is before I put it in soil.

Here is basically the skeletal outline of my labyrinth system to keep my veg and flower areas separate and un-affecting each other. As I build it I can see I will probably update a few versions but I think this is a decent start. I'm using that panda paper and I will put more vertical beam is when I know where my seams are. Should be a couple of more days but this is getting pretty's nice. I have been pondering on this a while.

It does 3 things; doubles the size of my veg room, makes the flower room totally dark at night, and makes it easier to take better pics in each room.

I assumed it's obvious but my veg area is the purple area with a little plant and the flower area is the rest of the room with the big plant under my Mega Light.

Hope everyone is well. :hugs: Looks like summer is slowly winding down. I really want to get this job done and enjoy the last of the nice weather before it disappears for another year.

Good weekend to get it done.
For sure and I would like to get it out of the way because I have a few other jobs backed up because of it.
