Homer's Legal 4-Plant Max Perpetual Minimalist Garden In Ontario

I’ve only got 6’ clearance with 2 hazes in there. Lol
You made me curious so I checked my clearance and I am at 7 feet so I'm a little better off but not by much. What has me concerned is that this Bruce Banner really is the HULK because there are branches that I super cropped pretty severely but I didn't gain anything because the plant just righted itself after a couple days and acted like nothing happened. If I need more than the foot and a half I have left I think some drastic action will be called for.

Hey Homer! Plants look great! I’ve got a Dr. Seeds Bruce Banner auto and it’s a dud... only 13 inches, went to flower in 3 weeks, and has weird little buds on it. I’m now beginning to understand how growing photos actually might be the better way to go. Being able to control the veg stage is beginning to be a little more appealing. :cheesygrinsmiley: I’m curious about that super crop. Did you tie it down once you did the 90 degree bend? That’s what I’ve done (and I have had to do some serious cropping with my Cindy 99s!), based on @InTheShed ‘s link. It has worked great. Can’t wait to see your final harvest!

Thanks, BooWho2. Sorry to hear about your Bruce Banner dud. I only have grown one auto because I got it early on as a freebie but I just don't like the concept of them because you are at the mercy of the plant. What I like about photoperiods is that I can get them as big as I want before I flower them and if I have a good strain I can take cuttings but with autos, it's a one-shot deal. Maybe I'm wrong but I've never heard of anybody taking cuttings from autos? If you have auto problems @MrSauga is a pro with them.

No, I did not tie my super cropping down because I find with most strains if I really crush the supporting structure they won't come back up so this plan's resistance to super cropping is a new animal to me. Probably because it is more Sativa I think and I am accustomed to Indicas.

Looking forward to my harvest results also but not so much the harvest process itself, LOL.

You are spot on regarding the autos. I guess a benefit for me is that I will likely be able to fit two comfortable in my 2x4 tent. My first grow I’ve had four Pineapple Express autos and four Cinderella 99s. (Huge newbie mistake to buy autos and photos, plant all the seeds and, well...the rest is history). I didn’t crop the autos but I supercropped the Cinderella’s indoor and outdoor several times. I had to tie them down since the first supercrop I did ended up with a rounded “Y” shape and lost her 90 degree angle. Supercropping has been a lifesaver for me - and they are still 5-6’ tall! The Cinderella’s are Sativa leaning as well so you may be right about your theory of Sativa versus Indica. Interesting thought....

I have known for a while that Sativas are generally taller and produce less bud and are not as sedating as Indicas but I didn't realize they were so resilient to training till my Bruce Banner. Penny has been making me aware of the differences lately like the fact Sativas are flipped a lot earlier was news to me.

Funny, I have found that if I don't weight them down with something, they all straighten up by the end of the day and I can't even find them when I get home from work!

Three. You can easily fit three 5 gallon cloth pots in a 2x4 if you aren't training the plants flat. Don't shortchange your harvest. :)

I find that really amazing because this is the first plant I have had that didn't stay down but then again I have been growing almost totally Indicas. Like my Gorilla Glue seemed like it wanted to be trained because once a branch was super cropped it stayed down.

Maybe it's because I'm growing outside and it's harder to resist the pull of 135,000 lux :cheesygrinsmiley:
Wow!!! You must have one huge light hooked up out there!!! :bravo:
